I totally agree, but not the BT Sport commentator who called it a "superb individual goal", obviously missing the part the other 3 individuals played in it.Played well, well worked goal, great leave by Burke with the dummy and Bogle 3rd man running, great finish.
The issue for him playing centrally is his vision and passing range. Imo he’s better wide but is versatile enough to play anywhere wide. RB, RWB, RM,RW. He was a great bit of business and is a top prospect. He’d have been getting a lot more hype at Derby if England weren’t so blessed with young right backs.Bogle is a big plus for us this season. Knows where the net is, gets forward, creates problems. I've been mulling over whether he can go into the position Lunny occupies....or tin hat time....play in the hole behind the front two....
I want to see him in the team more.
RWB is the perfect position for him, and exactly where he should start from now on in.
Our wing backs are vital to scoring goals in this system, and Baldock hasn’t cut it going forward for a very long time.
Hated how BT commentator kept saying blunt blades .... grrŕrrr!I totally agree, but not the BT Sport commentator who called it a "superb individual goal", obviously missing the part the other 3 individuals played in it.
Anyone know what was JB's stirring celebration about? Is he "in the mix"??
Move Baldock to RCB and leave Bogle at RWB. I love Bash but he’s started costing us a few times lately and always seems to be ‘underneath’ the ball when he heads it so I don’t think we would really see a drop off in aerial ability by having George at RCB.
I’d like us to try 4-4-2 with Burke wide on one side of midfield and Bogle on the other. Why not play him as a right sided attacking midfield?
i would like us to try owt that doesnt involve a back 5 and flat 3 in midfieldI’d like us to try 4-4-2 with Burke wide on one side of midfield and Bogle on the other.
Arguably we have young players who have shown flashes at a lower level but have the potential to play much higher. Players who we couldn’t afford at a later time in their development so we’ve got in early. Bogle has played more football than the others though and seems to be further ahead in his development.Wish we had signed more players like him tbh. Everything we need, calm, good on the ball, good technique and ability, fast, good dribbling. For 20 he is frightening. Is only gonna get better
I think it’s a case of baldock being more defensively sound at a time when we were looking shaky coupled with bogle not really taking his chance in the cup. He has talent and has done it at this level before but George is a hard player to displace.SJ has alluded to playing Bogle tonight.
Just wondered if anyone could shed some light on how he hasnt cemented a 1st team place yet?
He was often our brightest spark at the start of last season and i thought we’d be fending off the likes of Spurs and Arsenal
Only 2 appearances this season, yet imo he looks a great fit for the new system either at RB or RW
He showed very little in his performance against Derby in the cup. His performance away at Luton was as close to disastrous as you’d get without putting the ball in his own net.SJ has alluded to playing Bogle tonight.

exactly my thinking S40! could be lethal seeing osborn x bogle employed in SJ's high press, defending from the frontIm still a massive fan of his. Even on his defensively questionable showings he is one of the few to really get you off your seat and his offensive record in this division for someone his age is something already quite special. Only "issue" is Baldock being a absolute colossus and club icon. Would still like to see Bogle tried as a winger like how Osborn is being deployed on the left. UTB![]()

In both games he looked devoid of all confidence, positivity and drive that we saw from him last season.
Contrast with Baldock who always looks positive, even if his decision making can be better.
That said, Bogle had a better game against Southampton and I think it was his ball in for the first goal.
