I don’t think it’s overly alarmist to calmly observe that our likely starting 11 going into this season is, on paper, marginally weaker than it was last season.

additionally we no longer have the back up of players like the Freemans needed to cover injuries.
Having said that we are stronger than we were at this point last season since Berge, Robinson and Rodwell were all signed in January.

Anothe one to watch and very highly rated is Louie Sibley. Scored 5 in 11 league matches last year. Attacking midfielder and can play as a striker. Would be very surprised if he isn`t already on our radar.

We have to remember that players develop at different rates. Maybe Cash is a bit further ahead than Bogle at the moment? But Bogle is obviously excellent potential and honestly, I think CWAK could turn me into a decent footballer.

Just turned 20 with two full seasons under his belt. We'd be gutted if we were derby

The more I talk this deal through with my derby supporting mates - the better the deal gets for us. Those two pushing and competing with Stevens/Baldock, their ages, wow. The wing backs will be strongest area of our squad.

If we edge the rest of the squad towards that standard would/should be the target.

Fulham and West Sham no doubt sniffing around bearing in mind they both lost out to Villa on Cash. Robinsons agent was the same as Duffy and Lundstrams so touting to be expected.

Bogles agent is different to Robinson and Cash and represents Foderingham and Jags as well so hopefully he wants to come here.

I don`t really comment much about the rumours and player suggestions on here.

I have stated previously that my wife actually works for the Derby County, ( not willing to say in what capacity ). She does share the odd snippet of info and of course we have discussed this rumour ( she won`t say if it is happening or not ) , she has said she will be mightily pissed off it it does go through.

Her feelings are that if we get them for a combined £10m then we will have had their pants down.

Bogle is good at taking on defenders and is strong on the ball. He does have a little to learn on the defending side and I am sure that Knilly and Furious George will inspire him in that respect .

Max Lowe is very similar to Bogle although a little less skillful. He should have been a Derby first teamer long before he actually was. He has had hamstring problems and was a casualty of " new manager needs results syndrome " for a couple of seasons. He does seem to have overcome his injury issues this last season and will improve. Will provide real competition for Enda.

All in all both were very highly rated at academy level. Bogle is the one to watch though. Will be an awsome signing for us.

Funny that!! Two kids I know who are derby fans say its an absolute steal if we get these 2 and max lowe is an unbelievable talent. Both ST holders as for Burke I think its good business an we will see the best of him.

Strange signings from CW. Both Derby lads will be ones for the future, but he’s not addressed what we need now. We’re absolutely horrendous up top and we’ve probably weakened due to the fact Freeman’s gone out on loan and C. Robinson’s getting on his bike. Essentially signed squad players we don’t need, Osborne can play L/RWB if it was needed.
