Christ if you cannot see the difference between Didzy and Robinson in terms of quality you are way out of your depth commenting on anything football related.

I was talking in terms of goalscoring they were similar I wasn't talking about alround play because obvious that McGoldrick is better alround because his link up play is top notch and brings others into the game.

Hope Bogel is also on route.

We’ve counted chickens before with respect of Robinson and cash likely coming in.

Not sure you can even remotely compare Robinson with McGoldrick and have a serious conversation.

As I say, I like Robinson but evidently he's not progressing at the rate we need him to. While it would be romantic to nurture and stick with all the bets we've made in the transfer market, in reality that just can't happen. There are finite spaces in the squad and CWAK and co. have illustrated on several occasions that they won't bow to sentiment when progression is their driving force.

It was the goalscoring I was comparing not McGoldricks alround team play which we all know is great.

I just didn't get why we let him go on loan when up top was our weakest position.

I don`t really comment much about the rumours and player suggestions on here.

I have stated previously that my wife actually works for the Derby County, ( not willing to say in what capacity ). She does share the odd snippet of info and of course we have discussed this rumour ( she won`t say if it is happening or not ) , she has said she will be mightily pissed off it it does go through.

Her feelings are that if we get them for a combined £10m then we will have had their pants down.

Bogle is good at taking on defenders and is strong on the ball. He does have a little to learn on the defending side and I am sure that Knilly and Furious George will inspire him in that respect .

Max Lowe is very similar to Bogle although a little less skillful. He should have been a Derby first teamer long before he actually was. He has had hamstring problems and was a casualty of " new manager needs results syndrome " for a couple of seasons. He does seem to have overcome his injury issues this last season and will improve. Will provide real competition for Enda.

All in all both were very highly rated at academy level. Bogle is the one to watch though. Will be an awsome signing for us.

Anothe one to watch and very highly rated is Louie Sibley. Scored 5 in 11 league matches last year. Attacking midfielder and can play as a striker. Would be very surprised if he isn`t already on our radar.

And McGoldrick did? then Robinson came in for far too much criticism for my liking and has time to develop as a player.
McGoldrick did at least manage to look like a PL player when he was on the pitch (although he missed too many chances.
Robinson never really looked like he could make the step up despite his initial pre-season promise.

Max Bird stood out yesterday for me in an absolute diabolical game of football. Could do the Norwood role in future if Berge makes RCM his own

I hoped we would get Bogle last summer, but been super happy with Baldock this (last?) season

I also hoped we would get Luke Freeman and Callum Robinson though, and look how they turned out:rolleyes:

Right players, wrong time & league.

I am not a pig or trying to wind anyone up, not my fault that people like him get so touchy because i have my own opinion.

I disagree with many different people on this board but I don't resort to dishing out abuse left right and centre to people I disagree with.

If i don't agree I will give my opinion in proper manner I wont start inferring that the person/people that I disagree with are pigs or just out to wind people up.

Everyone has their own personal opinions and everyone is entitled to share those opinions without being made the target of vitriolic abuse.

But there is a number of people on this board that can't actually disagree with someone and give their own opinion constructively instead they choose to be abusive and behave like playground bullies.

Fair enough mate but as your views have a tendancy to be very negative towards the team and Sheffield United in general, as a glass very much half full type of person, I chose to look at what we are doing (and have done over the past 4 and a bit years) as a generally positive thing. After years and years of shite it's actually quite good being a Blades these days!

I didn`t see yesterdays match so can`t comment on his performance. Highly rated at at Derby though.

Bogle and Sibley are the ones that have the brightest futures ahead of them from the current crop of youngsters.

We should do a "Villa" and hijack their academy prospects..

Bogle looks a good signing - seems to have similar attributes to Robinson at WigannowFulham. I dont know anything about the other lad.

Furious George certainly had a long hard look at him the other day haha
