Get on the phone to your agent first thing and get yourself out on loan/permanent in January

£50 million pounds worth of players rotting on the bench not only a waste of money on our behalf but ruined 2 years of the lads development & careers

That's one interpretation. Another is to say that they haven't done enough since coming here to justify a prolonged run in the side... that's two decent managers now that haven't fancied any of them on a regular basis.

Their attitudes didn't look the best tonight laughing and joking on the bench at 0-2 down.

If they're as talented as their price tags suggest then they should have forced their way into a pretty average side by now.

Perhaps if they had done better when they have started or come on, they might have had more game time.

Spot on. As if 2 managers would not play them regularly if they felt they would add to the team. Attitude, for me, is what seems to be the issue.

Brewster has had 3 starts this season all out of position on the wing

Mcburnie has started what 2 games this season and looked decent off the bench and v southampton

Bogle ? Who ?

My point is the only way you learn how good they are is by playing them we are doing the exact opposite it’s crazy it’s bonkers

The manager and his coaches watch them train most days in the week. There's a reason he's not picking them.

Paying £50m doesn't make them worth £50 million now sadly.

We paid £50 million pound for the potential of the players on what they may become

The only way a player can reach that potential is by playing and developing

We are doing the exact opposite and instead sticking with the same players we have trusted and have failed over the past 18 month

Sharp looked 35 tonight he was woeful. Not sure when Osborn is playing LW either.

... and when they do play, they're hardly chomping at the bit and turning in big performances. MGW and Ndiaye did exactly that as soon as they got in and although their standards have dropped in terms of their output with the ball, they're still working their bollocks off trying. I've literally never seen Brewster do that. McBurnie? Maybe 20% of the time puts a good shift in, tops.

When they play all they do is add to the growing body of evidence that they're either not arsed and / or not good enough.

Of the three only Bogle has not had plenty of chances to prove himself. Surely you can't expect them to play in the first team every week just to aid their development.

Problem is any sale would crystalise a huge loss in the accounts , not sure the owners can explain that to the bank manager.......
So we are stuck with these players until their contracts run out.

I'm mainly targeting Brewster & McBurnie with the above. Bogle was exceptional when he eventually got into our side in the PL and he maybe deserves a chance.

It’s just not worked out has it, typical of United you just know we’d sell them and they’d be next best thing since sliced bread.

I might have read too much into this in the week, but a quote from SJ went along the lines of "I can't force Berge to play..." made me wonder whether Berge is trying to avoid it. Possibly another one who's heart isn't in it?

We won't win every game this season, but tonight was a wake up call...
Tippy-tappy possession, searching for the perfect goal won't work in this league.
Their defence bossed our front line, we needed a big strong CF to hold up play and win headers tonight - especially when we attack crosses.

Deano/Billy Whitehurst/Chief/Hulse step on up....??!!

Have we got that player? McB perhaps(?) but certainly not in Brewster, Billy, Burke, Ndyiaye or Didzy....

Completely forgot about Moose too. Another one that needs binning off for me.

Hey let's buy some useless cunts..

Or else I'll stamp my feet and leave...

You are correct and I have sat and watched billy sharps performances and bar pboro he has done nothing of note
