The medical/conditioning team really need looking at.

Since the first lockdown it’s been pathetic. More injuries requiring surgery than I’ve ever known in the past.

And when it comes to decisions, hmm… very concerning

Medical, conditioning, sports science departments having a fucking mare, only thing they can come up with is telling the manager to rotate players. Get fucked off ya if that’s all you can do to prevent injuries!

Why do these posters give the medical dept such a undeserved slagging, they don't cause the injuries. How many of you lot are medically qualified FFS.
They don’t cause them but their job is to get the players bodies in tip top condition and to prevent injuries, you do know that’s what sports science and conditioning do don’t you? They are failing miserably it has to be said.

To be honest `I haven’t got an agenda on this, and have no idea whether we’ve just been unlucky or there is something not right about our medical team.
It has got me thinking though, who are they, have they been with us for a while or are they new recruits?Does anybody know?Hope it’s not United trying to do things on the cheap again eg training facilities. It’s an area where you can’t and shouldn’t cut corners. The injuries may cost us dearly this season, and we are right to raise the question.
Not that anyone other than Hecky, at the Lane, is prepared to speak, or communicate with us.

Are we really more unlucky with injuries than other clubs Look at who is out for Blackburn this week
They had some recent injuries? Good news for us if they have? I know Brereton twisted his ankle and missed the last game, hopefully he’s not recovered in time.

I have yes and Dane Whitehouse, Gil Reece, Tom McCallister and many others. Injuries happen, career ending injuries too.
To be fair they are not players you should choose to try and prove a point, Dane was a contact injury by a dirty cunt who set out to do him. The other two tbh I have heard of them but obviously before my time so had to Google to see what happened to them, both had long careers? Then retired?

If players get injured by contact I.e hard tackles there is nothing you can do about it but if they are non contact injury’s like muscle, ligaments, tendons etc then yes that is down to the sports science and conditioning department. Granted you will still get the odd one but it seems we are getting hit hard with non contact injury’s at the moment. Could be down to pure bad luck or it could be down to conditioning, we will never know.

Typical. Injuries going against us at worst possible time of the season to key players. 15 games hope the squad can step up when given the chance some tough games as well coming up. I hope there’s no more injuries, keep positive hope they have a speedy recovery and come back stronger. UTB.

Because they are clearly not managing these injuries or treating them. Lets be real they have mis diagnosed a hernia on E Stevens, they also let MGW play on for an extra 5 mins when he was injured against Fulham, they f'ed up massively on JOC and now Bogle who was clearly injured against Birmingham (might have been peterborough) i think.

McCallister had his leg broken by Rodney Marsh. He did come back but by all accounts wasn't the same player (it was before my time).

JOC was a contact injury with our on loan keeper. In training, training that was ordered by our manager at the time to be "full on". So whats your point? Other than we all can't stand Ainsworth...

Why you mentioning JOC? We are on about the latest injury’s, non contact injury’s.

Yeah I read up on the injury, Woodward went in goal I think. Tbf he had a long career after that, it happened in 1973 and he retired in 1989, so he played on 16 years after so it obviously didn’t affect him to much long term, spent the 80s as West Ham’s number two to Phil Parkes in the top flight, only player 80 odd times though but that was a big step up from us tbf at the time.

For one game because of injuries, against a team with a depleted attack.

The wing-back system needs 5 defenders. Midfielders can't cover the wing back roles, apart from Osborn who isn't available.

At least 2 square pegs in round holes for this game if we refuse to budge on 3 at the back.

It's not the time to be idealistic, let's what what PH decides the 'least worst' solution is.

No way we go four at the back
The reason we are doing so well is that we have gone to three at the back
You did watch us under Slav didnt you

Injuries starting to mount up now to some key players ..anymore in particularly in the frontline and were gonna be left short at wrong time of season
