Bogle and Didzy

Injuries are part of the game but the recent blows run the chance of derailing our promotion push.

I guess sometimes less options mean certain players get more game time and step up the plate (Berge, McBurnie?).

We can cope in certain positions if no-one else gets injured but as well being short up front, we're now running the risk of being short at wing back.

At least we look covered in midfield, centre half, and goalkeeper at it stands.

Not sure what Enda's prognosis is but losing Brewster, Bogle, and Didzy for the season is a right kick in the nads.

Devestated for Didzy. Should be going out in a blaze of glory for us.

It's the end of February so pretty much any fairly bad injury now makes it a 'season ender now', but that's absolutely shit luck. 3 players needing surgery for injuries, hope they all work out and they hang around the team, Brewster has been a great supporter since he got ruled out.

Need a few to step up and fill in now.

If that is for Didz then thank you for the memories blades legend and probably the most technically gifted blades player I have witnessed

Some heads need to roll in the medical department Bogle has played like he was injured for the past 2 or 3 games and they have been saying he can manage it through the season so i would assume he has been playing with this injury , 6 months isn't an injury you can manage

The last time they tried to manage a player through an injury they probably ended JOC'S career

What a double blow. I hope that's not the last we see of McGoldrick.

4231 against Blackburn, if RND doesn't make it?

Basham - Goode - Egan - Robinson

Norwood - Hourihane

Berge - MGW - Ndiaye

Sharp

If Basham also doesn't make it then maybe a Bielsa style 3 CBs, 3 DMs and 3 AMs?

Goode - Egan - Robinson
Norwood - Hourihane - Fleck
Berge - MGW - Ndiaye
Sharp

To be honest I quite like the look of both those possibilities, despite the obvious unfamiliarity. God knows what the bench will look like.

Might be time to see if Seriki can step up, he's looked a lot sharper for the u23s in recent weeks.

4 at the back???....it ain't gonna happen.

What the actual fuck have we done to deserve all the injuries we’ve had? This season has been a joke regards this.

I really feel for those affected, including us lot. Hecky, Stu, Jack and the rest of the club have done unbelievable to get us to the stage we’re at after the shocking luck we’ve had with injuries. Hope they have a better recovery than a couple of our players have recently.

For one game because of injuries, against a team with a depleted attack.

The wing-back system needs 5 defenders. Midfielders can't cover the wing back roles, apart from Osborn who isn't available.

At least 2 square pegs in round holes for this game if we refuse to budge on 3 at the back.

It's not the time to be idealistic, let's what what PH decides the 'least worst' solution is.

That last line up would be suicidal from a defensive point of view. Any team with decent wingers backed up by attacking fullbacks would rip us to pieces.

This is a one-game solution, and we're playing a depleted Blackburn not Man City.

They're not ripping anyone to pieces with that injury list. They've scored 1 goal in 6 games, and 2 in 8. If a defensive sacrifice has to be made I've no problem with it for being this game.

I just want to say FOR FUCKS SAKE.

A run of form, coupled with a clean bill of health and who knows what we could achieve.
