Was Phipps ever actually I'm the boardroom?
The guy could have been sat at home in his pants every day just replying to all the dickheads on twitter in a really optimistic/positive way.

He, she, he`s back.

Whoever it is, they will be accused of being a patsy, a con man , or be broke.

Or all three by some of the more ITK posters :)
Whoever it is will change f all as proven by the numerous boardroom changes over the last decade of decline. One boardroom change could change things but that seemingly will never happen

Another shift around?

Jim Phibbs quotes in December following the last change:

“We suggested the move and put forward these candidates out of a desire to effect a step-change in the performance of the club both on the pitch and off,” Phipps said. “Our partners agreed. We believe adding local football and business nous to the board will strengthen operations in both places and provide a stronger presence in all that is done.”

“Obviously, the football results have not been to our liking. Less obviously, we need to improve what we do behind the scenes and how we make Bramall Lane and our other outstanding assets work for the club and community."

“We look to David to improve the performance of the football technical board and to ensure it functions effectively for the benefit of the club. We look to Martin to add business acumen to our commercial and non-football operations and to help us put Bramall Lane on the map for purposes of things like concerts and other events.”

“Both David and Martin are lifelong, local Blades,” Phipps told The Star last night. “Both know the club inside and out. Through the years, both have put their money where their mouths are, sponsoring the club and helping it with key initiatives. David has chaired the club before and knows his football, not just from a fan perspective but from a football operations perspective. Martin totally gets the club’s identity and has been helping us pull off first rate events.”

“Martin has great ideas about where we need to take the club on the non-football side,” Phipps added. “Both men are very well known to club staff, which should make the transition easier.”

So 4 months down the line it's time to rip it up and start again? What a wonderful way to run a football club.

Yeah mate. Why not? Change is the new 'steady state'. Consistency is the hallmark of a winn ...

Well, y'know what I mean.

We'll have Selatthin Baki running it next.

What ever happened to that bold business venture, by the fucking way?

Another question for the 'forum', maybe.
