Weird one this, I was passed near Barnby Moor this afternoon by a car with a Cowdenbeath scarf on the back shelf but with a Blades sticker on the rear window.

When abroad all the British drivers seem to ackknowledge each other in a Rule Britiania kind of show . When i spot a Blade i give it a na na na na ......for some reason .

Are yes but I have seen the Cowes play! Did lose 3-1 to Fareham though. East Cowes Vics were slightly more successful for a while.

Last season, myself and Bladesway were but a floodlight failure away from taking advantage of Cowdenbeath's executive match package. For £40 a head we would receive all you can eat buffet at the Indian Restaurant across the road plus three free pints, "best" seats, programme, free pint and half time snack, and tea, cakes and meet the players post match. All set to book until they brought kick off forward to 1.30 as their floodlights were knackered meaning we would only have around 20 mins to climb into the buffet.

Have any other posters got any top anecdotes?

Big expensive motor parked in Hyde Park London with a Blades sticker on the back window, last June. On hols with the family and just arrived in the smoke. Just had to go and have a fraternal moan with the driver
