Funnily enough I posted that because I was listening to Gold Against the Soul for the first time in years. I used to live in Ritchie Edwards old house in Swansea and I once attended a poetry workshop with Nicky Wire's brother.

Good enough ,Ive despatched her to the loft ,she thinks shes seen them so hopefully be good news this weekend . What if Richey had walked back in ? that would have been newsworthy. Manics do take some getting into for some ,but once youre in they are brilliant.

We used to go to this indie/metal night at a club called Escape every Friday and pulling goth lasses from the Valleys was dead easy once you dropped the "Want to come and see where Ritchie Edwards used to live?" line. I remember one of them asking "Do you think he's buried under the floorboards?" "Possibly" I replied as sincerely as I could manage, thinking to myself that there probably wasn't going to be much in the way of intellectual stimulation that night.

Excellent stuff, i see Harry's Game has gone up recently, bloody wonderful, i've got the video but haven't watched it in ages. A must watch for any young Blade to see what a team who gave a shit looked like.

I think you've just defined middle age ( and no offence as I'm the same!).

Going from pulling gothic birds to transforming old football videos onto DVDs in one thread has something about growing up, England and middle age.

Now if you were selling videos of exotic gothic Welsh birds I maybe in the market...
