Above all I want to see the crowd supporting the players and the players giving 100% (or 110% just to annoy a few people).

I really liked Howard's brief interaction with the crowd at Walsall on Tuesday trying to gee us up. It worked to an extent.

In a way it's easy to vocalize your anger but not so easy to vocalize your support. If we go 1-0 down I can see some fans turning purple with eye-bulging rage (this happened on Tuesday - and that was only an equalizer) and freely expressing their opinions in colourful language.

I can't see the same if we go 1-0 up.

It's absolute madness that in some people's eyes we seem to be existing game to game. Maybe the board should come right out and support Clough and the players no matter what, but that's a different thread.

If it's some kind of abject, miserable defeat then imo that will be a victory for the forces of darkness.

But as I posted after the Scunthorpe even if (in my eyes) they play well and create chances if they don't win then there's a chance of some loud abuse which is a real shame as this sets the agenda, and maybe it shouldn't.

I thought we did this against Scunthorpe (though much less so at Walsall) but maybe it's harder to detect when you're playing possession football.

If you hooooof the ball up the pitch and chase after it it's obvious to all that you care, but even the best placed crossfield ball (and Baxter played an amazing one on Tuesday) is unlikely to stir the same passions.

I see fully committed players. So far. Others apparently see something else.

Hoofing it towards a willing front man like Done isn't what I'm looking for.
I'd like to see us work up and down the pitch as a unit -we're far too easy to play through at the moment.

Kazarre13 whats your thoughts on tomorrow's game?
It was a poor performance at PV on Boxing Day, we lost and the snow fell for hours as we all tried to get home, many didn't make it and had to sleep in their cars.

Must win game tomorrow if we are to keep our season on track for a play off place. Fingered crossed for a win. Win or lose though no polls agreed? I won't if you don't

Basham's sending off cost us in the away game. Vale had a bad defeat last time out and we are due a win ( Basham due a goal too - I feel it in my water). I actually fancy us to win 3-1 and have placed my bet accordingly with Basham to open the scoring from a set piece. So can anyone please direct me to Middlewood. I think I need help.

Cheers mate, we don't have any influence on the team selection, we do try to second guess, I have always said the bigger the crowd and noise level the better we play. We have seen that before many times, I await to see it again in the playoffs, I'm going for a 3-1 home win today!! UTB
