Really liked the strength Ndiaye showed to bag his first goal of the season. Could have gone down and attempted to claim for a foul or pen but won the battle and got his goal. He's certainly not seasoned but the lads got a good career in him for sure once he's got a lot of game time and experience.
Agree that Berge probably shouldn't have gone around the keeper but he got the goal. If I was reaching for a bigger positive I'd say that it shows confidence and a bit of front to try and do that and while it may not always work, that does get goals. I think that's why we all enjoyed MGW. Every now and then one of those flicks went in or supplied a beauty of a lay off that lead to a goal and who doesn't want to see that.
We should feel positive and confident going in to the next game. There will be more difficult opponents but despite what some of our fans think all the other teams will be considering us to be promotion pushers so could potentially be cagey on the start or come out swinging. We should take advantage of that. Harbour no resentment but it used to piss me off to no end when Wilder often claimed in interviews we didn't deserve to be in the PL. I get amongst the big lads we're under dogs but they earned their place (in both seasons) it's one thing to acknowledge the magnitude of your opposition, it's another to think you aren't good enough to even be on the same pitch.
