Very complimentary to us. Good read. I’m never sure how much faith to have in these post match analyses - I’m sure you can find enough conflicting examples to support different views. However, (and having been there) it is difficult to argue with the overall conclusion that we were unlucky to lose on this occasion. Be nice to think it was indeed all in our game plan.
Whatever, had all the attributes of a fantastic team performance. Just didn’t quite pay off.

Great defending by United wasn't it,kept a good shape and they couldn't play through us...They only got through by our mistakes in possession, apart from the long ball down the middle from VVD...seem to remember Chelsea caused us a few problems with the same type of ball into Abrahams.

Enjoyed reading the article, which was obviously very well researched from a tactical point of view, but come on.... SHEFFIELD... SHEFFIELD... SHEFFIELD!!!!

"the Blades proved to be more than a match for the European champions."

Each and every paean in our name only increases my sense of foreboding. The people writing these things are from the same stock as those who has us down for Derby/Sunderland levels of points on pre-season preds. Not that we need much encouragement, but it's all adding to the general air of "we'll be fine". Listening to Beans and Roy's dazzling array of statistics backing up their own blithe sense of "we'll be fine" had me screaming at the dashboard.

Might be the Boycott within speaking, but how does it all look if we lose next couple? Our performances are heroic, but we are juuuust ahead of the mark in terms of points-per-game needed to survive, we need points, in multiples of three, sharpish to buffer us from periods of injury/fatigue. And only the points statistic counts no matter how many keyboards are mashed or words spoken.

I have belief, I have faith, but I'm not as comfortable as most seem to be with where we are.

All the positivity from Saturday is looking very silly if we lose a tame 2-0 at Watford.

Shades of 2006/7 after we beat Arsenal and everyone was saying we’d stay up easily. That’s why Wilder keeps criticising them, he knows.
