They look quite pacey in the forward positions.

It's possible to deal with pacey wingers through good organisation. Before the Swindon game we were concerned about Byrne, but the mentioned full backs (and team in general) dealt with him just fine.

We'll attack with more players tonight than against Swindon though and their nippy forward line is something we must be aware of.

That doesn't look like a bad side actually. Not only the attacking three but Garvan, Eastman and Elokobi are decent players too. Surprised they managed to sign Garvan, I would've taken him here if he's the same player he was before. Hopefully they attack us because if it's that sort of game we'll come out on top.

Well I certainly didn't see that coming this evening.

I still expect we'll be getting the much-delayed duo we've been after in the coming days, but it's clear Adkins has made two calculated gambles that have backfired:

1. Waiting till the loans cover Christmas, depriving us of the people we need
2. Calling off the first game due to Baxter's suspension, killing the momentum

but seems like utd poor 1st half & finishing have cost us but what's wrong with sharp ironically "1 of us" as I heard hes missed quite a few (as it turns out) vital chances & penalty night. Is this just a blip or looms worse

This is not a blip it is a reflection of the players, management and the board - Mr Adkins has come in with glowing references yet he appears to be out of his depth - he doesn't understand that Colchester and Bury can come to BDTBL and win !
As for Billy Big Boots Sharp - sorry my friend, as big a blade as you you are unfortunately you are just not good enough whatever they pay you !
