First time I've seen N'Diaye play. He looks very tidy relative to this level, at least. Good energy too, seems to be all over the pitch.

To be honest it's just nice seeing players play well for a version of Sheffield United.

4-0 now. Ndaiye with the third (his second) and Gomis with the fourth. Both from corners; we are clearly targeting the near post flick on. I think Mousset will get the assists if they're given at this level - it was definitely his header which set Gomis up.

Great performance from the young blades took the piss at times with a couple of real standout performances.

Looked really good. So refreshing to see a United team running with the ball and prepared to take players on.

Enjoyed that, played well and nice to see a blades team winning at a canter for a change.

Yes, again. Thanks for the heads up. Watched the last 30 mins. Enjoyed it as well.

Zak Brunt ran the second half.
Bomber Graham completed the whole 90 minutes with a cigar in his mouth🚬
Thought gomis looked decent at LCB as well inconsistent at times but very progressive with the ball and his running and his finish was excellent

Shows 3-5-2 can work when you have mobile pacey players who move the ball first time. Midfield 3 of Brooks Neal and Brunt impressive. Good to see them putting their foot through the ball and being prepared to shoot rather than try to score the perfect goal. Mousset looks like he's carrying a sack of cement on his shoulders. Two assists but he looks a long way off being able to complete 90 minutes in the first team.

I'd like to see more first team players make the appearances in the U23s games. I've always found it odd how we expect a player who has been out of favour or injured, to be match fit for the first team, when they haven't played in any competitive games for months. I know the standard is lower and there is the risk of injury, but its got to be better than just training. The other advantage, is the younger players may learn little bits from the first team lads. In Mousset's case, it'll be to stay off the takeaways!

Pre-covid the squad players played in behind closed doors games against other local teams. But with covid restrictions that probably isn't the case currently

I guess Covid bubbles has been a limiting factor in the same way we can’t move u23 players on to the bench then back again for u23 games

Little bit of gym time to bulk those legs up and get a bit more power in his distribution and I think he's well worth a shot next season in the Championship!

He can take a corner for a start!
Maguire's corners at Charlton last week in the Youth Cup were awesome.
