Not to mention the special coverage on the Saturday we sealed promotion when no games were on, including an hour of dedicated phone-in time.

It will give Pitsmoor Pig half a hour to tell everyone how we will get smashed every week and go straight back down, although he never wants to talk about us. The other half hour will be Rawmarsh Pig saying much the same thing with a possible reference to how they will take 60,000 to Wembley when they win the play off's.

To be fair you are right the only thing that spoils Radio Sheffield is how they pander to the same old callers every night. Oh and that Carlos guy gets too long to ramble on about nothing.

I'm not saying they're brilliant just that they are mostly not biased.
My biggest bugbear is when I get in the car after a Blades evening home match and they've already stopped talking about the Blades and are playing a recorded interview with some rugby player or ice hockey pucker.

They've got a big potential audience of Blades/football fans travelling home. Why not pay Keith Edwards/other clubs pundits to stay for another half hour and talk about local and national football stuff.

I don't listen when just Wednesday are on but i imagine it's just the same then.
That's not a sign of bias, it's failing to identify who your likely audience will be and programming around them.
How many rugby and ice hockey fans are going to tune in at 21:40 on a Tuesday night?

Radio Sheffield's football coverage is superb. Having previously lived away from Sheffield (some 300+ miles away) I'd have really struggled without it's excellent blades coverage. I really don't get this perceived bias towards either Sheffield club, they are balanced and clearly have excellent relationships with all the local clubs. I really struggle to fault them, try getting coverage of other similar sized non premier league clubs and you'll realise how fortunate we are.
