Just watched Manure pick up the trophy and the players had scarves round their necks, they were red with white and black bar stripes.

What is our 'traditional scarf' is it similar with the white and black bar stripes or just red and white? I've always favoured the red and white but I remember as a kid the first scarf my dad got me was red white amd black so I've a soft spot for that too

in the 70s it was red black and white had one myself no shirters in those days it was scarves tied round your neck

60's & 70's it was just plain red & white bars, often with the Sheffield crest embroidered each end

Got mine from the old Blades souvenir shop corner of John St & Baron St, sandwich shop on opposite corner where all the players used to go after training, early 70's, great days

Yep. Think it came in a pack when they signed up as a Junior Blade so I’m guessing it’s around 30/31 years ago I bought my youngest his first season ticket

Fucking big, close knit red and white one with red (note 'red') tassels on the ends. Round neck up through and down, like a tie without the knot and your parka zipped round it, hood up.
