Are you sure you're not getting mixed up with some other player here? I know he went on loan to the Pigs a couple of years after us and helped them to promotion but when he played for us he was a decent young wide player.

He bailed us out on quite a few occasions scoring some long rangers when Blackwell was in bloody charge.

He was on loan to us in 2009/10 (Blackwell's third season but second full season in charge) and yeah we had a few shite players then but Keith wasn't even remotely a shite player, let alone with no redeeming features!

OK I'm wrong about him scoring goals but Blades fans don't get excited and singing his name if he was anything like shite. I definitely remember the fans singing 'Keith' with excitement when being subbed on and with appreciation when going off, even when he came close to scoring the fans would sing his name instead of moaning and groaning. He had something about him but he was only 19/20 at the time so its expected to be a bit raw in places.

We'll have to agree to disagree but I certainly think its going too far to even mention him on a thread about players that were utterly shite and did absolutely fuck all!

Not sure of the exact date that Nyron Nosworthy joined the Club so I'm hoping one of you fine people will bump this thread on the 10th anniversary he began stealing a wage with The Blades so I can vent my true feelings about how bad he was.

Nozzy absolute leg end, he always got the crowd excited but for all the wrong reasons. His finest moment was in front of the Kop when he headed a backpass when the ball was all of 6 inches off the ground, only possible by someone of his ability. But for me Paul Thirwell has to take the top prize

I've seen that before but thanks for posting it because I think it's a really good insight into the man. He obviously didn't like Ken Furphy did he?
