Not seen a thread about this. As far as I know that Peck is with the England Elite, Hamza in the Bangladesh squad. Is Moore in Wales squad? Who else?

It's actually quite refreshing to not have so many going away.

It hopefully allows everyone to rest up this week and almost a full roster back in training for Coventry next week.

Fingers crossed Choudhury comes back in good health as that's the one place we're looking super-thin on the ground (assuming Clarke & Gilchrist are ready for Coventry).

The youngsters will be excited getting international caps for what seems to be, mostly inconsequential friendlies, just before a very busy Easter period for the club and everyone else.

Whose bright idea was that? It is a useful recovery break for our squad this time, but it does highlight how busy the game is getting!

Good luck to all our rightfully proud youngsters.

Hamza's game for Bangladesh is an Asian Cup qualifier in India next Tuesday: the game is being played in Shillong, a city in a state adjacent to Bangladesh, though heaven knows how easy it is to get there. The next qualifier isn't until June so only this game to get through.

Bangladesh will lose heavily.

Not many for a side joint top of the Championship
Not sure there's really anyone you'd expect to be called up - mainly because most of the lads are English.

A. Davies, Moore always get called up for Wales. RND in the past but perennially injured now.

Peck looks to be a regular call up for u-20s now - JRS maybe could be in 21's but his form has been indifferent so not a suprise he hasn't been picked.

Of our better players; Hamer, Souza, Burrows, Campbell will be nowhere near their respective nations due to the quality of those teams.

Choudary is a new one but again a very poor quality side.

The only one I think could have a genuine shout is Cooper but Trafford will always get in (1 because he's good and 2 because its the progression from 21's) and they'll always go "safe" in former keepers Ramsdale and Hendo to back up Pickford.

Leeds have players from a lot of different non-elite footballing countries : Japan, Bulgaria, Israel, Wales, Dominican Republic. As well as a couple of Swiss and a plethora of youth national teams. For context they have just 6 English players in their squad compared to our 19!

Cooper is better than Ramsdale & Trafford now imo

Against Latvia and Albania, I can't see the choice of Goalkeeper will affect the game. These games won't tell us who is the better international keeper. We'll it shouldn't. The toughest thing they may have to do is catch a long.punt into the box. Ramsdale may struggle with that.

Agreed but they'll always go safe with the back-up keepers (I do think its pointless having three, never mind four).

Coooper has never been involved with England at any level - probably because he's been at Plymouth and not at City like trafford was as a youngster
