Fantastic.. Goose pimples, what a brilliant sight it is. Really makes you feel like the good days will soon be back!

Brilliant. That rendition of GCB at the end is incredible.
Fantastic! The GCB sounded unbelievable!

Was clearly a Charlton fan filming it, as a blade we rarely see the three sides of the ground like that. Brilliant to see the ground full like that and in such fine voice.

Credit to Charlton fans for staying though. Got a lot of respect for them

One of the best videos I've seen, huge support for the blades, so proud of the team and fans let's bring that noise to Wembley even if we're losing let's keep that noise up and let the team know how much we love them.

Although the results at Wembley for us were the biggest disappointment. The lack of atmosphere generated was equally disappointing. I don't know if it's down to the size of the 'end' that you occupy or down to the fact there isn't a 'starting' point for the chanting / singing as we have with the Kop. It all became very disjointed and without ever leading on the pitch the responsibility seems to lay with the fans to lift the team rather than vice versa.

The atmosphere at Old Trafford for the Arsenal semi in 2003 was one of the best I've seen and heard from the Blades. Particularly in the second half, we were chasing the game but there were wave after wave of attacks from the Blades and wave after wave of songs and chants from the terraces. Arsenal hardly had a kick. Not sure if that can be replictated at Wembley.

The continuous 'Sheffield United' chant is one that can be used because there will be a time when nearly 40,000 can be chanting it at the same time.

We all want the world to see what it means to us to be a Blade and I am sure NC will put out a team that will give it's all and I hope we can do the same from the 'terraces'.

I love that Chip Butty song. Had the tune in my head all day Monday, which pissed me off even more!

Good to see you still lurking George - it wasn't your video was it?

Have we become your second team now or summat?

Sorry to hear about Chris Powell - especially the way it was reportedly done. Still a model pro in my estimation and I wish him all the best in the future.

Good luck with your struggle to emerge from the pack and retain your Champ status CG.
You lot deserve it far more than most.

ha i dont do second teams mate, but you lot seem a good bunch and was hoping there we be some videos floating around like the OP's.

Cheers, a win tonight will do wonders but we'll just have to wait and see.

Difficult times, so coming on here where everyone is in a good mood makes a nice change.

No doubt ill be back on to wish you good luck before the Hull game.

I'll tell you what George I think you are probably the most reasoned, knowledgeable opposition fan we've had on here.*

By the way, have you any car parking space at your gaff?

* If the answer is 'no' then please delete the above.

Little montage that came up on twitter today about the road to Wembley
A few omissions and the Fulham matches in the wrong order but not a bad effort

You wouldn't wanna park at my place mate, London Marathon on the sunday (i presume you play on the Sunday?)

Be murders trying to get across London that day!!

That's how it begins George, first the worm gets in your mind, then you unconsciously decorate your living room in red and white stripes, then you'll mutter under your breath that McCabe's a bar steward, and before you know it you'll be checking train times from St Pancras to Sheffield......and you must always, ALWAYS, refer to the limpers from S6 as Wendy or Arrogants. Of course they're pigs, but they are so much less than that.

From your posts, and other Charlton posters, it's clear we share similar perspectives mate. You do appear to have major problems, many of which emanate with your chairman. I hope you manage to scrape enough points to stay in the Championship fella. Hard times for lots of clubs, and for those who oppose the FFP we should remind them that being fiscally illiterate is the road to ruin. The 'big' clubs will always remain so, but everyone should practice the same financial husbandry, and not think that the rules only apply to the so-called small fish.

Good luck mate, hope to hear from you in future.

Agreed! I live in Greenwich and every year the road outside is absolutely packed - takes an age just to squeeze your way to the station (which is then closed because of the Marathon....).

When United scored the second, a rather large black man sat in front of me went spare and pretended to grab my scarf.
Uriah Rennie. And he was one of the referee's assessors!
