we been having crisis meetings on s24su most of the last 2 years :)

65 players in 2 seasons thats stupid no wonder this has happened

its like a revolving door at the lane

I heard an interesting stat recently that Ryan Giggs has played alongside about 130 different players during his 20 years at Man Utd. Really puts it into perspective that we've had half that many in just two years.

"Cresswell says the players are united in their goal of avoiding relegation."

That's good; I was expecting some were trying to get relegated. What a stupid thing to say.

They needed a meeting for it though!

Anyone got a picture of the stable door?

You know you're doing shit on Football Manager when the players hold a meeting and announce they are united in the fight to avoid relegation.

That is quite a pertinent point actually. If some of the players arent 100% happy with our managers "footballing" philosophy, then perhaps they havent been 100% behind the cause. After all is said and done they need to stop feeling sorry for themselves and give it one final push.

Alas though, its too little too late, Ale House Mickey has destroyed whatever spirit we had left.

I hope Creswell wasn't leading the meeting. Not a word will have been said ;)

Compared to most footballers you hear interviewed he came across as an intelligent person who didn't repeat himself endlessly, or use cliches or say 'you know what I mean?'. He actually seemed to care and I think this is probably why he's been made captain.
Yes he's been poor this season, but who hasn't. Mybe, just maybe we might be on for a win tomorrow. Too little too late probably but it would be extra nice to beat the scabs.

What the club needs to do is lock them all in a room, with a free bar and under strict instructions that nobody is to leave until they are completely fucking hammered.

It might not be the best thing for professional athletes to do, but for team spirit and togetherness it might be the best thing they could do

or they might just kill each other? Ive heard a few managers have done things like that before. Not sure if Warnock did it for one of his older clubs???

its how things are done, in todays society they even have meetings to say its cold out and of course when you earning ££££ you got to be seen or heard to be doing summat to earn it and god knows they havn't done what they paid for have they.

Since Micky can't buy a win at the moment, maybe a ritual human sacrifice of one of the current team might be the answer to our problems. Might even put a few more bums on seats if it's carried out live prior to kick off. Only question is, which one should be sacrificed ?

Haha, I was just about to post the same thing word for word

And it only took them 14 winless games to organise a crisis meeting. On the bright side, if we do win tonight there is no danager of haveing to hold another meeting this season...FFS!

Lets be honest, it can`t possibly make things worse. Although with our players at the moment they might actually be scared of odering a drink just incase they hit the bar...

Worryingly true. Crisis calls, progress meetings.

"So why are you 4 days behind on Project X??"

It gives an illusion of control. And the reason we are behind. Probably something to do with the 4 days of meetings in the last 2 weeks...

65 players in 2 years Jeez!!!

One thing I was going to look up was how many loan players we have used this season vs how many we used last when we "learned you can't build a squad with loan players" and "it won't happen this season" quotes came out.

Anybody know off the top of their heads?

About time. Who are our "senior" players who can take over the motivation and running of the team?

The Coventry fan who Houso quoted on the "sad day for all blades" thread is becoming more like fucking Mystic Meg by the minute.
