Any Blades coming down the day before the final and looking for something to do might want to pop along to the Famous Three Kings by West Kensington tube to hear the musical stylings of London resident, Blade, and man about town, Malf. Hes pretty good so come along.

His album is excellent so I will almost certainly be there. A few other Blades going that I know as well. Sean Bean and the Wednesday fan Richard Coyle will be there as well

Me and my other half and my rather gorgeous Spanish female friend will be off to Pedestal in Vauxhall on Friday night if anyone fancies that.

Google it (but not if you are at work....)

Bloody Hell Dazzer, see ya there. Will they let me in wearing my Blades shirt?

Well I just had to look it up. :D

I reckon a Blades shirt would be fine so long as the shorts were PVC. Had to chuckle at this line:

Due to the usual licensing regulations, full nudity is not allowed.

Bloody prudes eh?

Did the Famous Four Kings used to be the Nashville Rooms, which was right next to West Kensington station? If so, I went there many, many times in the second half of the seventies, it was a staple of the London pub rock circuit. I've gone all nostalgic, but I can remember seeing Graham Parker, Dace Edmunds, The Adverts, Clover (Huey Lewis was the singer), Neil Innes amongst others, as well as an unknown band called the Tooting Fruities with their brass section, the Tooting Horns.......

Yes The famous Three Kings certainly was the Nashville! Sex Pistols, Clash and Joy Division played there to name but a few!
According to his facebook page today, Malf has written a song for an American artist and she is gushing with praise for him. High accolades indeed! To be produced by record Producer Stuart Epps no less. Moving up the ladder it seems

I work up the road from there. Will see if I can swing by. The F3K is my favourite pub in the world.

Dazza, assuming the unthinkable happens on Saturday, and Celebrations get understandably, out of hand ...

Will you be standing by at Marlebone Magistrates on Monday Morning for some Pro Bono Work ?

I work with a Spanish bird called Eugenia. I might rock up just to see if its her.

What? The lead singer of U2 is a Blade, may get up to some naughtiness if we win and require Darren to represent them at court!

'Lynn, these are sex people!'

Anybody who didn't get Pinchy's reference, it's a classic scene from Alan Partridge and well worth a look;

No Youtube clips of Pedastal unfortunately. Never would have suspected Darren frequented those venues!

Why do you think he forecast Ched would be found innocent ???
