Some memories from our last trip, anybody claiming the S26 that was next to ours?

Need flags, balloons aplenty. No ultras shite, no drums…just a party atmosphere.

Im stocking up.
I think I'm getting to the same point as Ball_Sup (Phil) has been telling me for ages and the only way to generate a decent kind of atmosphere is to have something organised. It doesn't have to be ultras but the away grounds I've visited in recent years all seem to have their 'vocal' support right next to the away fans and with some form of instrument.

The atmosphere at these big games is always piss poor anyway because people are too spread out so it's not the worst thing if Ricky and his pals get together!

I'll be honest, that "mention" has caught me unawares & a little bit wrong place & wrong time. I view myself as a student of terrace culture, a student by observation and immersion. I'm currently in Napoli, the day after that England win in the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. I know, I know, I don't need telling, you can't import & export terrace culture. But, if ever an Ultra culture was so much NOT about "the fucking drum", it is here in Napoli. It has the advantage of being a one club city. But, the Ultra Culture is part of why the whole city can unite behind their football club. OK, they're monstering Serie A, and they've got Milan to come in the Champions League, but the whole city is part of a vibrant & celebratory support. I'm sure proper Ultra culture can't be imported to England. But, I will stand up for those supporter groups (Middlesbrough, Forest, Crystal Palace, Bristol City) who are trying to organise an appropriately English version of Ultra Culture. And, the drum helps, the tifo helps, but it's not just the fucking drum.

I think it's clear the SUFC fanbase is too fragmented and posturing to embrace any sort of organisation, fair enough, so be it.

Please for the love of christ….whoever has that we hate wednesday flag….I beg that you leave it at home.

Maybe so, but in an FA cup semi final I cant for the life of me understand why anyone would give the single shiniest of all shites about them.
Anyone brandishing the said flag will get lifted in our woke society

Our fans were brilliant at this kind of thing in the 90's, but basically they've turned into a bunch of wankers. Rather fight with each other than arrange flags, tifos or balloon effects.

Inflate a couple of balloons or lift a piece of a tifo design in front of one of our fans who has had three fucking shandys and if your bigger than him he'll report you to the police or stewards, and if he thinks he can get away with clouting you one across the back of the head and shouting siddarn ya cunt, he will do.

The biggest bunch of wokey, obedient, subservient, observant of the rules, siddarn ya cunt, beigest twats without an ounce of togetherness in them.
