1.Jags, Gillespie, J.WARD and Paddy Kenny I couldn't cut it down to 3 I would have put in C.Morgan
2. Billy Sharp, just really really slow
3. Tony McMahon
4. Best performance Charlton. The most tense game has to be Huddersfield.
5. The Tonge goal, Michael brown goals. Amazing free kick and volley
6. Yeovil. Nice long drive through the country past Stonehenge, Nice old fashioned ground.
7. Wembley travelling back, I think you know why. travelling there Watford last time we played. Weird part of London, on and off trains and shit result.
8. Promotion to the premier league. All I can think really. Oh and Porter scoring that goal to beat Stevenage in the play-off semi final, everybody I know said we were going to lose so when we won I was really happy
9. Being beaten by Yeovil. I was silent for around 2 hours and then just saying yes and no.
10. Sheffield United 1-1 Leeds United scorers Eirik Bakke og and David Healy

1. Who are the top 3 greatest blades players that you have actually seen play in the flesh and why?
Currie, he had just about everything. Woodward his only real weakness being he couldn't head a ball for shit. And maybe Deane gets in my top three.
2. Who is the biggest flop / under-achiever that you have ever seen for United and why?
Terry Curran, no need to say any more.

3. Who do you think is the most under-rated Blades player that you have seen play for us and why?
John Gannon, hated by most fans but still quality in a side stuck with a hoofball label, or maybe Tri Dellas labelled a slow lump by some but loads of technical ability and went on to win the Euro championship with Greece.

4. What is the best Sheffield United game that you have ever been to and why?
FA cup quarter final v Coventry who were a very good side at the time a division higher than us, Holdsworths last minute volley into the kop goal, Kelly's penalty saves and the Lane went mental

5. Out of all of the Steel City Derby games against s6 minnows South Barnsley which game / goals were your faves and why?
Got to be Browns screamer, then Tonge's free kick and Akinbyi's half volley in the win at the sty ............... any goal against the pigs is a good un

6. Which of any football ground other than Bramall Lane have you enjoyed the most in your travel as a Blade and why?
Had some crackin away days at Grimsby even though it's a shithole. Once left the wife and her friend to shop in Cleethorpes, of course the pub they told us to meet in after the game was the "home" pub surrounded by riot police and dogs etc. After me and the lad covered up our colours to get in it was fun trying to keep the pissed up girls quiet, there was a deathly silence when they shouted across to us "we won then yaaaaaa !!!

7. Which of any football ground other than Bramall Lane have you least enjoyed in your travel as a Blade and why?
Bellend Road, have had serious trouble there on 3 occasions. Then there is Wembley
8. What would you describe as your greatest / most proudest moment as a Blade and why?
After the cup semi v Arsenal we called in a Glossop boozer, the locals who had watched on TV were very complimentary on our performance in a game we should have at least drawn.

9 What would you describe as your lowest moment as a United fan and why?
Relegation to Div 4, and Colin's antics in the battle V West Brom which was abandoned made it embarrassing to be a Blade.

10. What was the first United game that you attended? What was the score and who scored?.
Not got a clue other than it was around 1962 and we won

1. Tony Currie - simply the best. Great entertainer and great footballer. Did things that no other player I've watched could do. Alan Woodward - Mr dependable. A superb winger who was so consistent, so good and what a shot and what a cross. Brian Deane - great on the deck, great in the air, great in defense and great defending set pieces. Probably the best all round player I've seen. Gonna make it best 4 because I can't leave out Joe Shaw who was the best defender I've ever seen, for Blades or anyone else. Beckenbauer - rubbish in comparison.

2. Chris Guthrie (or maybe David Weir)

3. John Gannon. But there have been a lot over the years. We seem to love seeing the worst in our players.

4. Blades 5 Cardiff 1 April 1971. For a change in our history we needed a win and we got it. Great atmosphere from all 3 sides of the ground and TC was superb and spent most of the second half blowing kisses to the Kop.

5. 1992 the Bobby Davison game. Second of a great double against the unclean. Eat your hearts out Palmer, Hirst, Waddle, Walker and Woods.

6. To be fair I've always enjoyed a trip to Millwall (old and new Dens) good crack with a bit of spice. Good day out if you made it home.

7. Elland Road. Still hate them more than the pigs and we always used to lose there. The win in 2004/5 at 4-0 being the exception.

8. Every time I follow the Blades, win, draw or lose (apart from against the pigs or dirty leeds).

9. Losing to the pigs at Wembley. Night out in London planned but just wanted to go to bed and hope I wouldn't wake up.

10. Not a clue. Wish I could but it was probably in the late 50's/early 60's and I've slept since then.

1. Who are the top 3 greatest blades players that you have actually seen play in the flesh and why?
Alan Woodward, Joe Shaw, Tony Currie
2. Who is the biggest flop / under-achiever that you have ever seen for United and why?
Billy Sharp
3. Who do you think is the most under-rated Blades player that you have seen play for us and why?
???
4. What is the best Sheffield United game that you have ever been to and why?
v Cardiff April 1971 - decided to ask the wife to marry me.
5. Out of all of the Steel City Derby games against s6 minnows South Barnsley which game / goals were your faves and why?
Puntin (put it in)
6. Which of any football ground other than Bramall Lane have you enjoyed the most in your travel as a Blade and why?
Blackpool 1967 - picked out the same horse in two separate sweepstakes (Foinavon) and we won 1-0.
7. Which of any football ground other than Bramall Lane have you least enjoyed in your travel as a Blade and why?
Millenium stadium just tops the two Wembley stadia
8. What would you describe as your greatest / most proudest moment as a Blade and why?
Beating the mighty Leeds team 1-0 on my 21st birthday
9 What would you describe as your lowest moment as a United fan and why?
Don Givens missed penalty
10. What was the first United game that you attended? What was the score and who scored?.
Jimmy Hagan testimonial - no idea od the score but something like 10-9

1. Who are the top 3 greatest blades players that you have actually seen play in the flesh and why?

Currie, Woodward, Alex Sabella.

2. Who is the biggest flop / under-achiever that you have ever seen for United and why?

Billy Sharp. Has performed everywhere, except with us.

3. Who do you think is the most under-rated Blades player that you have seen play for us and why?

Nathan Dyer. Still doing it at top level but our 'manager' couldn't see the talent.

4. What is the best Sheffield United game that you have ever been to and why?

v. Forest, Play-off Semi Second leg, 2003. Simply the finest game I've ever seen, live or on TV.

5. Out of all of the Steel City Derby games against s6 minnows South Barnsley which game / goals were your faves and why?

Brownie's screamer in 2003 and Chris Turner saying United had 'quality all over the pitch'.

6. Which of any football ground other than Bramall Lane have you enjoyed the most in your travel as a Blade and why?

Probably Grimsby. At the 'seaside', good boozers & none of the underlying threatening atmosphere you get at bigger grounds (see 7).

7. Which of any football ground other than Bramall Lane have you least enjoyed in your travel as a Blade and why?
Helmand Road. The Bank Holiday 4-0 drubbing there in 1990 was a nightmare. Just 1250 Blades allowed tickets and a whipped up atmosphere similar to a Nuremburg Rally. Terrifying.

8. What would you describe as your greatest / most proudest moment as a Blade and why?

Going into my local after the 2003 Forest game. It was live on Sky and was rammed. When I walked in at around 10, the entire place (most of whom knew I'd been at the game) burst into rapturous applause that I'd just witnessed a phenomenal game.

9 What would you describe as your lowest moment as a United fan and why?

Too many to mention, but off-hand I was present at 1968 home to Chelsea when we went down on the last day, 1981 Walsall last day relegation, 1997 Newcastle semi, 1997 Palace at Wembley, 2003 Arsenal semi, 2003 Liverpool semi, 2010 Huddersfield at Wembley, 2003 v. Wolves at Millennium, 2009 Burnley at Wembley, 1993 Pigs at Wembley, 2007 Wigan at home last day relegation, 1994 at Chelsea last day relegation. Oh, and I was a United fan at the England v Poland game at Wembley in 1973. I'm sure there's more, but that lot is depressing enough to be going on with. I think I'm a fucking jinx!

10. What was the first United game that you attended? What was the score and who scored?

1962 away to Man. U. Think it was 2-2 but I was but a child...

was about to fill this in but mB has done most of it for me.. john gannon was totally underrated. a lot of people forget that the reason we were so good at set pieces is because of Gannons exceptional delivery.. other than that can't fault it.. except first match. .man city 3-3 draw.. sometime in the 70's
and grimsby..i remember we had to climb over an unfortunately parked disabled vehicle to get in . the queue went over the car.. also singing the accapela version of 'you'll never walk alone' for about 80 minutes, right through half time.. one of the grimsby cops turned to us and with almost a tear in his eye said 'i've been doing this job 40 years and i've never seen anything like that'

1. Who are the top 3 greatest blades players that you have actually seen play in the flesh and why?

Brian Deane. A player who was instrumental in dragging us from the old 3rd Division to the top flight and keeping us there

Michael Brown. Saw him have the best single season a United player has ever had in my time.

Phil Jagieka. The most naturally gifted all round footballer I have seen at the Lane.

2. Who is the biggest flop / under-achiever that you have ever seen for United and why?

Lee Hendrie. Came in on big money and was absolutely woeful.

3. Who do you think is the most under-rated Blades player that you have seen play for us and why?

Nick Montgomery. Much maligned but always gave 100 per cent, was a better footballer than people realised and I always thought we looked a better side with him in it.

4. What is the best Sheffield United game that you have ever been to and why?

Sheffield United 4 Forest 3. An absolute humdinger of a match in front of a packed and rocking Bramall Lane. I don't think I will ever see a better game at the Lane

5. Out of all of the Steel City Derby games against s6 minnows South Barnsley which game / goals were your faves and why?

The 2-0 win in 1991/92 at Bramall Lane. My first Sheffield Derby and a cracking win.

6. Which of any football ground other than Bramall Lane have you enjoyed the most in your travel as a Blade and why?

Plenty for many different reasons but always enjoyed my trips down to watch United in London.

7. Which of any football ground other than Bramall Lane have you least enjoyed in your travel as a Blade and why?

Glanford Park. A shit tip in an retail park. Hate the place and never seen us win there.

8. What would you describe as your greatest / most proudest moment as a Blade and why?

Going to Exeter for the promotion party that never was. Ended up having a big night in Torquay with around 200 Blades in the seaside resort. Absolutely hammered at half 3 in the morning and got talking to a copper at the taxi rank who told me there had been no trouble from the Blades at all that night and we was a credit to our club.

9 What would you describe as your lowest moment as a United fan and why?

Getting relegated at the end of 06/07. We should have got the result we needed that day, it tipped it down all day which worsened the mood and the game lost its magic that day with the other circumstances around that particular event.

10. What was the first United game that you attended? What was the score and who scored?.

7-3 win over Northampton Town in the old 4th Division season. Must be an inherited thing getting a high scoring game for your first as my boy saw a 5-3 win over Bournemouth last season for his first

1. Who are the top 3 greatest blades players that you have actually seen play in the flesh and why?
Currie, Woody and Jags

2. Who is the biggest flop / under-achiever that you have ever seen for United and why?
Claude Davis - Record signing .....3 million???

3. Who do you think is the most under-rated Blades player that you have seen play for us and why?
Monty, I never understood the vitrol he had to put up with at times.

4. What is the best Sheffield United game that you have ever been to and why?
Forest 2002-3. At 2-0 we were gone, simple as. Rocking atmosphere.

5. Out of all of the Steel City Derby games against s6 minnows South Barnsley which game / goals were your faves and why?
3-1 (1992). Davisons diving header and Brownie's Volley

6. Which of any football ground other than Bramall Lane have you enjoyed the most in your travel as a Blade and why?
Darlington 82. Incredible day out.

7. Which of any football ground other than Bramall Lane have you least enjoyed in your travel as a Blade and why?
Portsmouth, a long way and I know some class it as nostalgic, but its not for me, its been a complete s**thole of a ground for years.

8. What would you describe as your greatest / most proudest moment as a Blade and why?
When Porter scored against Stevenage. The look on my two little lads faces when they knew they were going to Wemberlee.

9 What would you describe as your lowest moment as a United fan and why?
How long have you got? FA Cup Semi Finals and Play-off finals. Walsall 81'. Relegation 93-4.

10. What was the first United game that you attended? What was the score and who scored?.
Sheffield United 3-2 Spurs. 2.5.73. Billy Dearden (2), Ray Evans (og), for United. Chivers and Collins for Spurs

1. Currie, Woodward, Badger.
2. Jimmy Johnstone.
3. David Cotterill
4. Sheffield Utd 5 Cardiff City 1. Promotion back to the 1st (where we did actually belong at the time) in 1971.
5. Bobby Davisons night.
6. Old Trafford. Seen us beat Man U twice when it was huge and decrepit. Great stadium now that we can't win there.
7. The Den/Ninian Park. Never knew if you were going to come back in one piece in the 70's/80's.
8. Still to come, when we lift the FA Cup at Wembley in the next 15 years.
9. Abbey Stadium 1979 and our first ever relegation to below the top two tiers and when Hoofy kept his job post Ipswich and I became a none season ticket holder for the first time in 25 years.
10. v WBA November 1962, week after my 4th birthday. Won apparently.
