Personally now as it doesn't look like DW is going until after the Coventry game I am going to try and give him my full support. He has until 6pm on Sunday to prove he is able to sort this shit out. Whether this is moving some backroom staff around of actually putting players in their correct position.

There will be no locking the players in the dressing room. He has done this too many times already and I think instead of shoes off in the car park, we should just welcome the team bus back from Coventry instead.

Staff and players are in this together whether they like it or not. No more talking, just doing please gentlemen.

Baxter is a deep lying striker, not a central midfielder or the McDonald position.
Taylor can't play with his back to goal
Cuvellier is not a central midfielder when playing 2.
Doyle, show us you can lead.
McMahon, try and stop embarrassing yourself and us.

We have the players, however unfortunately we have the excuses. This is the last chance to turn this around so don't leave anything on the pitch or you won't get a chance to get off the bus!

UTB!

Are you planning to throw undergarments at the players as they get off the bus? (assuming we lose)

Do these have to be dirty or clean?

A mass pants throw would be quite amusing. Like being stoned.

Dirty and curry stained. Also if you could get a pair of the wife's 'big pants' that should make things messy.

I think he will be given until the end of October. Two home games and two away and hopefully 6 points from there. Any less than that and I don't think the board will be left with much choice other than to sack him in order to give us a realistic chance of staying up.

As for your comments on players

- Baxter. Light weight in the tackle and can't get rid of the ball quick enough at the moment. If he plays, we need players behind him who can actually tackle because he will nesh out. At the moment, out of the 4 (or five) midfield players we normally play only Doyle puts in a tackle which is why we are losing out in midfield as most teams are more physical than us in there(remember, we used to have Quinn and Williamson who could also put a foot in when necessary).

Taylor- He needs a strike partner but on Sunday I reckon he'll be on his own up front

Cuvellier- Yet to see where he fits in any of our systems. Again seems very light weight

Doyle- Our best midfielder by far this season. Gets bollocked by some fans when he has a go at some players on the pitch, bollocked by others when he gives a standard interview on the website. How do you want him to demonstrate the he leads.People seem to forget we have a soft midfield where only Doyle will tackle and put himself about. I am not his greatest fan but there re also other experienced players in the team who should be leading the others not just Doyle(e.g. King. Collins ,McMahon, Hill-when selected)

McMahon- Who has he embarrassed and how ? Played OK since his return from injury and is by far the best right back in the club. The issues are ahead of him.

Hill has his limitations but from what I have seen of Lappin so far,he is unfortunate to be dropped.

We need some steel in midfield in the Bradshaw,Whitehouse,Williamson,Quinn, mould who will get up and down the pitch, defensive sound and push forward which will then give Baxter the licence to roam. Not sure if anyone in the club can do this

I reckon he will play Ironside on his own up front to begin with on Sunday and bring Taylor on later if we are struggling to get over half way.

On the field he has been okayish, some of his media pronouncements have been cringeworthy. E.g. "we can still win the league", "one of these teams is going to get a tonking against us".. I remember Stephen Quinn coming out with similar garbage in 10/11 when we were relegated to this division. Too many players thinking they are doing everything right and things will just work themselves out.

McMahon strikes me as trying to give off the impression he is a 'battler' and that he has 'passion' when in fact he is nothing of the sort. He frequently blames others, never picking them up. I've not liked him since last season away at Brentford when we were 2-0 down and he was substituted, and he ambled off so slowly rather than running off.

You're correct that he is the best right back at the club, and that Doyle has been our best midfield this season. Just how depressing is that? Absolute rubbish and the players should count themselves very lucky that fans have stayed with them as long as they have.
