Apparently this happened this week (today?) don't know if anyone is able to add any info?

Apparently we put out a fairly strong starting XI?.....

Obvious questions being..

Who played?
Are they back from Dubai?
Who scored?
New signings play?
McGoldrick play?
Etc etc....

Most of the teams coming back from the break have looked a bit rusty, or have picked up a knock, so makes sens to have a run out ahead of the weekend.

This makes me all the more surprised that some of our surplus players haven't ended up at Lincoln City, they were crying out for new experienced recruits at the beginning of the season (it was on their radio phone in), also an ideal location for youngsters needing league experience.

An even better reason, is that they have "tomorrow's man", Michael Appleton in charge. He would take our kids and develop new ways of play, that only a true visionary managerial genius could forsee.

People who recall Roygbiv 's L1 'view froms', may recall how dismissive fans of the mighty Oxford were about CW. A great masterplan to offload him to the Blades (via Northampton), so that they could get the Scouse wonder genius in charge. Any minute now, Karl Robinson will have them blasting through La Liga to take the Prem by storm.

“The elements were very similar to Saturday in that the wind really picked up and they scored two direct from a corner, both almost identical. So you can imagine how strong the wind was."
I'd imagine from that comment that Norwood played!

Wilder has confirmed today that Retsos and Zivkovic both played and played well yesterday.

I'd imagine that Rodwell and Robinson also played.

Appleton isn’t a bad manager at L1 level, he just got over-hyped early in his career before he’d learnt the job properly. I think he’s probably as good as Lincoln were going to get to replace Cowley.

Appletons career can be directly related to his roid intake. The more roids, the worse he performed.
