Almost 20 years ago, Swindon Town's first ever match in the top flight in their only ever season in the top flight. We both ended up relegated of course.

The actual highlights start at 3:56.

I remember it well: two of my kids, Dominic (11) and Alex (9), were the mascots. During the warm-up they both scored at the Kop end with considerable more accomplishment than our so-called strikers have managed in recent games.

Who scored that belter in the clip from the previous season, Hodges?

I was a mascot for the 2-2 draw with Swindon, no idea what year that was but I remember we were doing a tour round the top of the South Stand when our 2nd goal went in and I was stood next to the guy who was playing the goal music.

I still have the photos and programme somewhere... memories :)

Last game of the season? 99-2000?

Looks like it was 94/95, I was born 84 so that would be about right.

15/4/95. Rogers and Hodges (with a last minute equaliser) scored. That failure to win against a relegation threatened team basically ended our slim hopes of getting in the play offs. It did nowt for Swindon either who ultimately went down for the second season running.

Phil Jagielka's debut if I'm not wrong.

Unlikely, the game you are thinking of is the one I mentioned in the early noughties...

Jags' debate was the Swindon game on the last day of 1999/2000.

Ta Darren, I should have remembered it was April as it was a birthday present :)

I was at a wedding that day as a 9yr old page boy.

I'm at a wedding today as the father to a 2yr old flower girl
