all these rumours about falling out with players & players not wanting to play to his tactics.

surely its not all BULLSHIT?

Its not bullshit and it clearly shows from some the players.

He is also is using injuries I think to cover up any fallouts within the team.

You really believe that? Which injuries?

The biggest failings for me week after week are:

1, The inability to do the simple option.
In the first half Williamson had the ball in the right back position and all he had to do was clear it out to safety. But no, he doubles back towards our keeper causing panic and we luckily escaped.

2, Our lack of vision.
The amount of times yesterday we gave the ball away to the opposition or just out of play was very very poor. I never saw him play but have been told TC could pass a 40 yard ball to a players foot inch perfect, this current lot could'nt pass 40 inches. If you put this together with point 3 as well would help.

3, The inability to find space.
When we attack if only players would spread wide or drift into space it would give our player with the ball options as opposed to running into dead ends.

4, The lack of skill.
In my opinion the only player we have with the skill to run with the ball is Jamie ward. Everybody else cannot keep the ball for more than 5 seconds.

If Blackwell could just get the team to practice the very basics we might have a chance. All around me yesterday you could hear " what the hell do they do in training all week" ?

Notice how they only surface when we aren't winning?

Surely they'd be the same when we were?

I think there are a fair few players in our squad that have shown all of the above. (I wasn't at the game yesterday, was at work) But over the course of the season I've seen things slip and stupid stuff happen when Blackwell does a few crucial thing wrongs, one is by selecting a squad with one or two key players out of position.

How the hell can players do the simple things in a game when they have to concentrate on doing other jobs they aren't really used to?

Defenders playing on the wings, central midfielders also having to go out to these positions, CM playing in defensive roles, Strikers playing on the wings. (all barring Jamie Ward who likes the role, probably because he just wants to play the game, the others have been largely piss poor).

Then we go and drop a partnership of two strikers who are playing well together and gaining a understanding all in favour of Hendo, now I certainly don't hate Hendo but why drop a line up that is playing effective together. Evans showed improvement while alongside Cresswell, I also like him alongside Camara but from what I've read he's back to how he was earlier on in the season yesterday?

This is a puzzling thing for me what message is the manager sending to players who start to improve and gain an understanding together to always have that in the back of the mind that they’ll be getting subbed in the game or dropped in the next.
Yet players like Quinn (I’ll state I have nothing against Squinny and on his day he is a cracking player, on his day) who has taken another drop in his form will constantly play for the most part and not be subbed no matter how much he looks out of sorts in the game. Like the Reading game, other than his flair for the first he largely did anything but give the ball away time and time again, while the likes of Evans played well, held the ball up and looked generally more of a menace to then get subbed out in one of his better periods of the game.

Now I have and in some ways still support what Blackwell has done or his doing, but I’m starting to frequently get more frustrated at him for his tactics and squad selections. I’m starting to question how does a manager get his team to do the simple things in their job when he shows clear negligence of doing the simple things of his own?

i can do that if you want.. thing is it is a waste of time.. noone listens. ooh we're seventh in the table so it can't be that bad.. blackwell is a genius yadda yadda..
it is crap and you know it.
hopefully we will make the playoffs if there are enough teams to bully into submission.. if we get another burnley in the final we will be decimated.. again.. so where does this ultimately get us.. nowhere

edit. i wanted to add that we have two superb full backs in the academy team.. blackwell won't pick them even though he is short there.. why.. because he's fallen out with the academy.. pathetic.

I remember that particular incident with Williamson and it was definitely down to number 3. He was looking for an outlet and no one was giving him one. A lesser player might have been content with just hoofing it upfield or out of play but the type of player Williamson is, he was looking to retain possession. Unfortunately no bugger else wanted to help him out.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't etc...

Correct. The number of times yesterday when Willo looked frustrated at there being absolutely no option for him to pass to was all too frequent. That one incident called for a hoof away but he looks like one of the lads who want to play football but aren't being allowed to.

The funniest thing yesterday was when Henderson dropped back for some reason and picked up the ball in the right back spot. He looked up, presumably saw his own reflection and hoofed it long. Bloke behind me shouted 'Come on Henderson, win a fookin header.' Priceless.

Why would they???

Are players going to express a difference of opinion and fallout with the manager when all he has to say is oooh look how my tactics etc are working weve just won again??? No didnt think so.

Far too many of these rumours for there to be no smoke, at all, without fire IMO.

Billy Sharp did.

We would be a better team by a mile if we found space on the park and I cannot fathom why we don't practice this in training. I would be screaming find space from the touchline if I was KB. I know they don't practice this through what I saw yesterday and the way some of our players run into each other going for the same ball. We looked at times yesterday like the keystone cops ( 3-4 people all running the same way).
It is also hard when the game is in flow to see what formation we are playing to because of this keystone cop effect. Or perhaps this is what the management tells the team and it confuses fans and players alike?

Did you just see Kevin Philips second goal? I really thought Billy would have been that type of player for us, but it wasnt to be. I think Billy relishes being a big fish in a small sea, where the is no real expectations. I think he has found his level now.

It's more likely he relishes being in a team which plays football and actually creates chances for the strikers.
