Martinez would be ideal for the fans, the football he introduces is something special, the job he did at swansea was immense and i for one thoroughly enjoyed watching them play

Kevin Blackwell is the best manager in the Championship.
To be honest, on quite a few occaisions I saw them, they bored me.
It's all well and good tapping it around the defence all day (ala Donny)... but you have to be able to do something in the final third too.
Without a doubt, they could do it, but not consistantly enough. Hence the fact they didn't even make the playoffs.
No we are not due a promotion til 2019.![]()
To be honest I couldn't care how well we played football as long as we got the results, which Blackwell pretty much gave us, so I'm glad he's staying on this season. It also means he'll be able to make SUFC more of his team, because tbh most of his team was/is a warnock/robson type team. But with better players at the Lane he could do a better job than he did at Swansea.
I saw them a few times and wished we played football like them, it's definitely more pleasing on the eye, but it's not really the United way is it?

I think we'll get in the play-offs again and hopefully there'll be no despair and disappointment like always
