For those he can't/haven't heard, here's a summary:

Blackie pleased with win after a difficult 24 hours after RUMOURS.

Hendo had to "go back" yesterday after his son was seriously injured.

Thinks it'd have been more comfortable with better finishing.

Its all about getting results now, have to stay in top 6, need about 9 wins to do that, take each game as it comes and get the results.

Hendo bought to make sure we had cover for Beatts, hoping he's got 19 games like today in him.

Went for Paddy as "he's the manager", it worked as he kept a clean sheet. No "reconciliation, I'm the boss, its about the club, not individuals". Says Paddy has been really professional and Benno been superb.

Says there's always been nothing but speculation for Beatts didn't think he'd get through with him still at the club, more speculation and he's hoping for the same outcome. Says Beatts is at home as he's ill and he doesn't want to risk anything going around the club. Beatts in to see the doctor in the morning.

Says he doesn't know what is going to happen due to the fluidity of the transfer window. Hates the transfer window.

Hull City, Fulham all in for James Beattie, but he's still here and its currently all speculation.

There WILL be some strengthening, whether Beattie stays or goes.

I seriously do not believe for a minute Beattie is ill.

If Beattie wants to come to my house, I'm ill as well.

There's plenty of soup in the cupboard and enough duvet for us both to share.

A better offer than Stoke's anyway :D

Im pissed off with blackwell.
Start of the season if you play well you keep your shirt, Benno done nothing wrong, and he's not injured and kenny gets in. And it wasn't a managerial decision as such as giving in. He's the manager? bollocks is all i can say.

Putting Paddy in the shop window is the only reason I can see the change being made.

that and his off field antics ;)

I meant for Paddy coming back into the team today... it's a way of putting him in the shop window for other teams to make bids.

I was agreeing that it was a strange decision to drop Bennett.

Yeah, but also his off field antics have helped him back in :)

Rumour has it, Benno is off the Chessie as part of a deal for Jamie Ward.

I think that it is more likely an attempt to prove that he will not leave on the cheap due to his attitude putting him out of first team contention.

From the interview with Blackie it sounded to me like Blackwell simply felt we had a better chance of winning the game with Paddy in goal and i have to agree.

PR person needed pronto at BDTBL...........McCabe ,Cheap as chips and Ellis are shocking giving interviews.

Will you be saying this come the end of the season if we keep numerous clean sheets, Paddy performs as well as he did today and we secure play-offs/promotion?

Surely the fact that Blackie sees it as "all about points" from now justifies his decision and I agree with jodman as we stood a better chance with Paddy between the posts

I thought King Kev I did alright this afternoon with Paul Walker. Didn't hear King Kev II after the match though.

1-0 to Paul walker, King Kev was nervous, agressive and obviously hiding the truth. He answered every question with an aggressive question back. I was very disappointed in him and it is without doubt the first time I have genuinely thought that this man isnt telling the whole story and he must think we are daft. He went down immeasurably in my esteem yesterday.

On a positive side I thought Paul Walker was excellent.

I agree on both issues. The fellas at radio sheffield certainly know how to put somebody (even as cool as Mr. McCabe) on the spot.

Yes i will still be saying it. A cock up between kenny and morgan... yet again, could have cost us.

You can tell the defence and keeper look better with benno in the net as he communicates more and comes off his line when needed.

Benno didn't put a foot wrong and has pulled off some great saves, then to let paddy back in because he wanted is a poor decision after he kept saying if you play well you keep your shirt. Killgallon didn't get back in, why did kenny.

Im the manager who picks the team..... Unfortunately not.

I am happy having Kenny between the sticks. But I do agree with keenzy, Benno did nothing wrong to be dropped and deserved to keep his place.

I think Blackwell may have done it just to keep Kenny quiet.

Perhaps amazingly, I fully agree with Keenzy here ;)
