Blackies Future?

Has anyone got any insight now to what will happen with King Kev? Mr McCabe leaving only makes the rumour of the yanks taking over much more possible, and the worst thing about it was the yanks were bringing in their own soccer (-sigh-) manager. Now that would be, and excuse me for the language, but a complete fuck up in my opinion. Hopefuly it will just be one of McCabes reletices or somethin?

McCabe isn't leaving, he's steping to the side to let someone run the club day to day.
He will still have involvement in some way or another.

When Blackie was appointed i thought it was a mistake..........just brought in on the cheap. Well Blackie may well have been brought in on the cheap but he has given me back The Blades and for that i am thankfull.

Mr McCabe will announce what he is up to when he is ready, if anything at all , until then we will just have to 'wait and see'.

This summer should be interesting.

well i know hes done a fantastic job here but look what he did at Leeds..play-off final defeat then got sacked when they were bottom. Luton.. i know they were in administration at the time but he sent them down and then they went down again. Im not slagging him off but when its comes to the long term, i think there is better managers.

You could say that, but has Blackie immitated anything that he did at Luton and Leeds at the Lane?

Name some that we could realistically get, and could DEFINATELY do a better job than what Blackie has so far.

Comparing Blackie at Weeds and Luton to now is impossible.
Look at the players they had and the one's we've got.
Far more to work with here and hes working very well in my opinion

We have money, Leeds and Luton don't (or didn't at the time).

You can't guarantee anything.

However, I think there are definately better managers out there for us long term.

Blackwell has done well, there is no disputing that, but for me he wouldn't do anything for us in the premiership.

For me, at the time Leeds had the best squad in that league and only managed a play off place.

Just wait until Blackwell completes another season in the Championship. I believe in the team but we need too much luck to go up so we will get lots of time to judge Balckwell.

Blackie deserves the job.......since arriving back at BDTBL he has proved he can motivate players, my only concern long term is can he match Mr McCabes ambition ? $million ?
