My issue is currently stats and performances are not sustainable. We are getting battered in every category apart from the most important, which is fine but eventually the results will not be maintained conceding so many possession/chances. The positive is we have been clinical.

Understand where your coming from DB but to use a cliche one game at a time ..after Saturdays second half capitulation last night was all about the result .. and we got it .
Let’s see if we start to get a bit of confidence & structure to our play .. a lot of new faces in the line up & may this take some time ., but while ever we’re working hard & digging out results I’ll take that

Agree with much of that report, how we won that I don’t know,same as the season before last when we were outplayed time after time but robbed the points. A very grateful 3 points but all the stats,set up,fitness,technique with teams hardly breaking sweat to run through us is alarming.

Trouble is we hardly had possession so ended up being the former a lot and we got overrun in midfield again. Its odd as we have 5 back + 2 CDMs but there are gaps teams are exploiting all over. The players are standing off, not pressing and just letting g teams have the ball. Leading thus to so many chances conceded.

Yes, it's a bit strange that we're struggling to cope in midfield, despite the amount of defensive midfielders we've got.

Arblaster was the one who played Bamford through against Norwich and he was bright and positive when he came on last night. Will Wilder try to turn him into Hamer's replacement?

Bottom of the XG for expected goals for and against....which ultimately means nothing but the stats are trending to us nosediving and having a run of defeats.

Hope we can start to have more possession and concede less chances/shots as at the moment its ridiculous how poor we are despite scraping results
