Delighted for Billy though I would have personally given it to Fleck. Thought Sharp would get it all along because of the goals but did wonder whether the last couple of days might have swung it back towards Fleck a little. Either way, having two nominations - arguably should have had all three with Freeman - is a sign of how dominant we have been this season. UTB!

Am delighted for Billy. It must have been a real mindfuck over the years having tried and "failed" twice with his own club and to finally have a hugely successful season as player,captain and lifelong Blade.
Just think next year might be a bridge too far. The signs have been there this season where Billy has had inefective games. Hope not but am prepared for him to be second fiddle not the main actor.

The last time he was at the club he was wasted. Blackwell either didn't give him a chance or he was stuck on the wings. I am glad that things have worked out for him.

If he scores against Port Vale I wouldn't be surprised if he did both now the pressure's off..so to speak.

He replied that he hopes they get to the play-off final, lose on penalties and we beat them twice ..............and he sounded serious

Billy optimises the football clubs revival perhaps more than anyone , as he took a pay cut to wear the shirt .

The club does need Billy , and blades fans , other clubs , write him off next season at your peril .
