Tyler Durden can you defend him today? What's so good about Billy? Was a fantastic pass to Lafferty out wide for sure in last 5 mins and saw him on arse for nearly the whole 90 minutes

He needs dropping. He's not good enough

Screw the goal statistics, he offers us barely anything

Strikers are either small and fast or tall and strong and good in the air. Billy is none of those except small

Screw the goal statistics? He’s a striker and he’s scored quite a few this season.

Nurse!

Not gonna defend his poor performance today. He should've come off sooner.

Shame that people weren't this vocal when he was banging them in however.....

Billy didn't really do much but for you to say he spent nearly the whole 90 mins on the floor is harsh. He was getting pulled all over the place every time he was trying to get the ball so feel that's a little harsh. I agree he is going through a bad patch at the min but what are your other options because for me he is the best option we have at the moment. Also the midfield was shocking today so can't really pin it down to sharp.

He's a striker, he'll score if you give it him in a good position most of the time, but he and Leon had shit all today so it's not fair to judge either.

We don't need to drop anyone, that's not the issue, we need to bring players back. Fleck, Coutts, Duffy, Wright all suspended, injured, ill or out of favour.

Billy should have probably been off today at 60 for Lavery or something, because we were struggling up top but not through his lack of trying. He gets fouled constantly and has had naff all service so I'm not going to criticise.

A poor performance today, but Billy has done a fantastic job for us these past couple of years. Maybe the time is coming to try out a different combination up front. However, any fan who shouts abuse at him should be ashamed of themselves.

I haven't seen the match today, but I haven't noticed in the last couple of home games he seems as interested in wrestling the centre halves as playing football. If he was more the victim today then fair enough, but at times I wish he'd stop getting involved in all that stuff.

We are basically playing long ball now that we don't have any proper passers in midfield and we lumped it up top nearly the whole game. I Would personally try Hanson and clarke and bypass the midfield

Sharp relies on good service to be able to perform. We've seen that under previous managers. Clarke, to a lesser extent, is the same.

When the final balls are as poor as they've generally been over the last few weeks, they've had little to feed on (unless there are defensive errors).

Chris was after another striker. One who would give us different options. It didn't happen and our other strikers have been injured or not really up to this level.

Unless we go to one upfront, which isn't really an option at the moment, then those two will likely start.

Sheer bad luck prevented him from adding a couple more to his already-impressive tally last week. He was poor today, but he'll never thrive off long balls.

Who else do we play alongside Clarke though? Give Brooks another go, once the aliens bring him back?

He was great last season, but this season he is being out-strengthed, out paced and just generally out played

I have to agree. He scored 2 at Burton but over the last couple of months he has been really poor. Sadly we have only Donaldon, Lavery as options and not sure they are good enough. He may have to go to Brooks-Clarke again and persist with it for a few weeks.

Hanson. If we are going to lump it up then surely Hanson is the answer? Not an attractive player but at least he can challenge in the air

I couldn't disagree with this more. So basically you want to stop playing what makes us exciting to watch and you want to start playing lump ball? if you think Hanson is a better option than sharp in the championship now that does surprise me. Hanson is league 1 at best if we are planning on lumping it upfront then that means changing the formation and changing the way we play? why? yes we are going through a bad patch there's no doubt about it but we are in the play offs and we have achived that playing how we do. For me I can't think of anything more boring to go and spend my Saturdays watching a team play lump football.

Did you go the match today? We played lump ball the whole match. If you didn't go to the match today then clearly you didn't see us playing lump ball and are probably one of those moaners about the loyalty point system when the big matches come round the corner.

I can see why you say it but I pray it doesn't come to that. It'd break my heart to go back to that style of football after the last 18 months.

I don't want us to go that style of football however today showed that it seems like we are

I think it's just because literally every creative player we have is out at the same time: Coutts, Fleck, Duffy, and Brooks. Get two or three of them back and Wilderball will return with a vengeance. No need for Hanson in my book.
