Is it me or is he actually getting better!?
He’s got more pace since he got to the championship as he’s got fitter and sharper. His extra strength and conditioning has paid off. He works his bollocks off. He’s never had any pace to lose, so it’s more about appetite and stamina now. And both are as good as I’ve ever seen from him.

I think he’s benefitted playing off McGoldrick recently. However, the biggest key has been the wing backs allowing him to stay in the box more.
It’s beautiful to watch.Freeman’s return has really helped Sharp too. And in turn, Norwood’s passing allows the wingbacks to get into better positions. A plan is coming together....

Billy Sharp ?
Well , he's ok but it's a shame we didn't one of those proper strikers that were suggested throughout the Summer like Nahki Wells , Scott Hogan or Sam Gallagher who are all knocking 'em in right , left and centre.
( I'll just go and check that )![]()

Exactly, it's all about knowing where to be and what to do, OK it's bad defending to leave him one on one at the back post but yeah, watch, the way he gets close to the defender and then takes that one step back to make the space. Having said that, what a pinpoint cross, credit Enda, you'll never see a better cross than that.I imagine Keith Edwards will have enjoyed the second goal. Get behind the defender, begin a forward run, defender runs forward to cover, step back, and if the centre is a good one, use the yard of space created to score with a header. Strikers like Edwards and Sharp don't need to be tall to score headers. Great to watch.
That used to be the case, but in recent matches he’s contributed more to open play than I’ve ever seen.He literally does nothing....but score.
It REALLY wasn’t. Ever. That used to be the case, but in recent matches he’s contributed more to open play than I’ve ever seen.
What was the significance of the ‘one finger on the forehead’ - like a unicorn - when Sharp scored his second goal?....probably scored again whilst you were reading this.

And one in the front of my trousersTo all the naysayers, keep the "fat chants" coming while he puts another bulge in the back of your keeper's net. UTB
