Apparently set to put a bid in for him aging a bit but can still score goals, don't want to waste any money early on though

I hope this isnt true, I think that Sharps best days are well behind him. Id rather hoped we'd seen the last of managers resigning players they'd worked with in the past, seems a lazy unimaginative way of player recruitment to me.

But if you must Nigel, might I suggest Nick Blackman would be a better bet?

Not that I think sharp is the answer I for one never rated Blackman, without penalties his goal tally would be average at best, we pulled a master stroke flogging him to reading for a few mil

It was that much of a master stroke that we still find ourselves in league one wondering what the fuck happened to that couple of million:)

Is he related to Billy Sharp by any chance?

Well I think that billy is worth a punt. Could be third time lucky.

This is gold.

This is gold.

Yeah it's a fair cop, but in my defence, it was based on his less than impressive performances for Leeds and my general hatred of all things Adkins.

I accept that I have to hold my hands up and say I was wrong, he has been superb for Utd both on and off the field and dragged the squad along with him, as each and every one of them have been inspired by his example.

That said, you will learn that we all make mistakes S11Blade, just ask tha' Fatha ;)
