He was fuming when he came off and rightly so, being on a hat trick I think anyone would be.

It was the right decision from Wilder though as proven yet again by the result, nobody can knock Billy and nobody can handle Leon.

They don’t look like a natural partnership but because they’re both good players it’s working out pretty well anyway.

Nah, he's shit. 10 million trufflehunters were adamant of this pre season.

Just tell me couttsie injury is not as bad as it looks, the result tonight is brilliant but the shine has been taken off

We currently have the 2nd and 3rd top scorers in the league. Really is like Deane and Agana at the moment.
Can't be right the pig fans said they wouldn't cut it in the Championship, they were pissing themselves before a ball had been kicked.

They really most feel incredibly stupid at the moment. Seems to have not stopped them from making more predictions though luckily!

I read one tonight saying "Another pen for United". First of the season

He's useless not a championship player , to slow ! lol .

IMG_5536.PNG 119 minutes per goal, that is sensational. Billy is an absolute machine.

At the start of the season, there were many who were already writing him off but I always said that if he played regularly he would still score 20 goals in this league. He's never really had pace and he's scored goals at this level before, he has that instinctive knack of being in the right place at the right time and that's priceless, evidenced by how many headers he scores. One thing that's come to my attention is that he's actually a quality crosser of the ball too.

Unfortunate middle name.
Parents must have had a real sense of humour.
Our Sons middle name is Thomas. Seems a bit ordinary now

Like yourself, I couldn't understand why some were writing Billy off pre season and telling ua that he wouldn't cut it in the championship as he was too slow.

The thing is he has never had lightning pace (though hes no slouch). He is a goalscorer who knows his trade inside out now and who knows where to be at the right time. He not just a box player either as evidenced with his 2nd goal last night where he timed his run to perfection ran onto the through ball and finished with aplomb. Hes at the top of his game as whilst he might have lost half a yard of pace from when he was 25, he knows how to ply his trade better than ever, and he is a more intelligent player than he was 5 years ago.

Put short, he is a goalscorer. They are absolute diamonds to have in your side. And he could still be doing it in 2-3 years cos he won't lose that instinct. We are very lucky to have our Billy.

His all round play is light years ahead of where it used to be. His movement to get little pockets of space is fantastic and his connection with the rest of the team seems to lift everyone.
He's the antithesis of Forestieri and probably highlights the main difference between how we feel about our team and how they feel about theirs.

The latter brings the shirts up lovely !

Shows how good CW is at picking players. We were rumoured to be after Waghorn pre season but I think it got a cool reception ont rumours pages. Up there will Billy and Leon and he looked very dangerous when we played Ipswich.
