Not seen it mentioned anywhere else. Did anyone else see Billy nick the note off George Friend. He grabbed it off him, then there was a bit of a coming together in the penalty box where the ref had a word. Then Billy throws the bit of paper into the back of the net with a big grin on his face. That's how I saw it anyway from the back of the Kop.

I spotted it. One of their players got some notes from the touchline and as he was passing it on to another player Billy snatched it out of their lad's hand and tucked it down his sock, then chucked it behind the goal later.

If you zoom in on it when it's in the goal you can see what it says which is 'my mate fancies you'.

TBH it was hilarious, they had a top secret note to pass to all their players , bill nicked it and their player got a strop on , Billy was pissing himself !

It was actually meant for the referee.
It said:
"Dear Mr Referee. Although my players remembered to bring their kit and none of them have a cold, please can they be excused from playing football today"
