My word, how the worm has turned. Reading the comments from the Wendys is, in fact, now the main source of satisfaction to emerge from a bitty, scrappy derby yesterday. They are expressing surprise about how poor we actually were compared to what they thought and suggesting they were expecting ‘Barcelona’ so how brilliantly they nullified our system. Hence another fabulous 0-0 triumph! So,success for Wednesday is now defined not by beating us but by merely preventing us from scoring. In 2 short years we have completely turned around the world order in relation to the Massive. Our once arch rivals have become just our noisy neighbours. Can’t help but smile at them

We have more serious matters at hand. Not a great match but certainly not a disaster. It’s not the end but, to quote Churchill (the former PM not the insurance company), it’s now the beginning of the end. We may do it, we may not. What’s certain is the we have bigger fish to fry than than the bottom feeders of the Rust Bucket. We may do it, we may not but all Blades fans know that this team is not going anywhere with a whimper. We have a team playing with a confidence and a swagger not based on arrogance but on team spirit and self belief. Buckle up for a great ride to the end of the season. i can't bloody wait.

For the past 4 months we've had bigger fish to fry than the porkers, beating them is a bonus. I'm not even disappointed over last night as both teams were poor and that's saying something given Wendy are in decent form and playing the best they have all season.

Crap game, but point is ok for us away from home, always going to be tough going to Hillsboro
We move on

For sure, our porcine friends have to hang on to something from last night. It couldn't be their "quality" football as they were just a wrecking ball. It was Bruce's choice to play however they wanted to and their negative tactics won the day. Personally i'd have gone with 6 in midfield and worked the ball more and quicker to nullify their closing down, but it's history now. They waited for the Hutchinson type chance all evening and it nearly paid off.

I have to give Bruce credit - if they had come out and played us at football, then it would have been different.

As for the "deluded" of S6 - if they can't see the reality of last nights game then there is something really wrong with them, delusion being just the start.

We need to move on.

Before the West Brom game we would ALL have taken 4 points from those two away games.

On to Rotherham - which I might add has danger written all over it. For me they are better than their position suggests. They draw too many. CW needs to get back to a team that plays through midfield.
