Just listened to Bladespod podcast ,excellent by the way, really enjoyed it.
Towards the beginning they mentioned what would be the bigger achievement Wilder getting us promoted to the premiership or Wilder keeping us up in the Premiership?
For me it would be getting us promotion,it was never expected at all after finishing 11th the year before .
Having a small budget compared to the ex premiership teams with parachute money still coming in
I was hoping to make the playoffs in 5th or 6th at very best, never in a million years did I think we d get automatic promotion,a massive over achievement, amazing!!
The mostly clueless media have us nailed on for relegation ,out of 20 various predictions and super computers I think only the BBC have us avoiding relegation even after spending more than £40 million on the championships best talent.
I think the bottom half of the prem are all very beatable home and away and will be able to get points off teams from the top half especially at home.
My prediction is the Blades finishing 15th.
Would this be a bigger achievement than promotion?
