The main match in the programme will be Arsenal v Leeds that was played on 11th September 1971. I think Blades v Spurs match (attendance 41,663) will either be the second or third match.

Well I've watched us 3 times on this programme and we've so far been hammered by Notts Forest and Leeds and drawn at home with Everton after being 2-O up!
I hope it's not the match where Spurs scored a late equaliser at the Kop end with a Gilzean header!

On Saturday just gone, they showed Everton v Blades from April 1975. We were 2-0 down at HT but won 3-2 (goals from Eddie, Dearden & Currie, I think). In winning, we'd dented Everton's chances of winning the league that season - Derby County won it.

Also on that programme was their Golden Goal competition, 6 of the season's best which included Tony Field's goal v Ipswich. What I don't know is whose goal was chosen the winner.

I love watching these old shows as they were a little before my time so I'm never sure of the result and cheer on the Blades as if it were live. As 232 said above, we were often on the wrong end of results..... at least in the 50 odd years since, I've gotten used to that
