Burnley and West Brom at Home - Burnley has the best away record in the league, while West Brom holds the third-best record.

Sunderland and Watford Away - Sunderland have the fourth-best home record, and Watford has the third-best.

This feels like the most critical period of our season for me.

We face four of the toughest teams in just 10 days. Given how threadbare our squad feels, I believe that if we can emerge from this run with 6 or 7 points, it will set us up well for the remainder of the season.

We need to make sure we have full squad available for these games & hopefully a couple of quick additions in January too.

Could be rough for us, squads starting to feel a little beaten up.

One of the major plusses of our results to date is that can weather a poor run and still be thereabouts.

🤞 For a few reinforcements very early in the window.

Make it through this period of games with a respectable / good points return then we win the league.

Given we are top of the league, and beating all comers at the Lane, we are a "hard game" for them 4, they will all be shitting it.

Can we stop all the cap doffing and enjoy what Wilder has built?
I don’t think most are & everyone is enjoying what they’re seeing (other than today) a well organised, hard to beat team that also has a bit of quality too.

We’re very light in terms of depth & that’s a concern when you’ve got to play 4 of the best teams in less than 10 days and you’ve not really got any option of rotation.

From January I think we’ll strengthen & have a go at the second half of the season because whoever owns the club will go risk & reward. But it’s an extremely important period of the season before we get chance to do that.

We will do any business at end of Jan it's what we do.

Yes we have problems with injuries, but so do most other clubs. If Souza, Anel, and Campbell can take some part in the next four games I think we`ll be fine. Of the four teams we face, Burnley have impressed me the most, so a win on Boxing Day would be a particularly nice present.

Sunderland and Watford still both unbeaten at home.

I’m not sure how Burnley line up away (whether they’re more defensive?) but they’ve only conceded 5 goals away from home all season.

Think we will be happy to go to the stadium of light and sit in and let sunlan burn themselves out like they did at t'lane
I missed that game & wasn’t able to watch. From what I read they were pretty decent? The highlights was predominately them attacking.

They played well and we didn't but wasn't much in it really
Their winger whose name escapes me was a real threat but when seriki came on we got on top and always looked like lier winners
In my opinion

Burnley have a tough run coming up Sunderland have to go to Blackburn before playing us.

It's not just just a tricky spell for us

Blackburn play all our rivals and are in form right now...
That win at. Blackburn was an excellent one. It makes you realise how good as time passes.

Weirdly if burnley, Sunderland and us go up next year these games will be the easiest games all season
We thought that last season and then lost 5-0 at Burnley!
I remember thinking that against Burnley. Your hardest game in the championship turns into the easiest (or most winnable) when you’re promoted. It really is such a difficult league to get any result.

My viewing of the difference is championship the top teams have 3/4 really good players. For us Hamer, Cooper, Souza, Arblaster - maybe Souttar and Anel but we don’t own one of them. In the Premiership even the bottom teams like Palace, Wolves etc have 5/6 quality players.

Part of the problem with the Premier League is now the old guard top 6 aren’t there anymore. You have Spurs and Man United not even in the top 10. Although a long way to go you expect Ipswich and Southampton to drop, it’s whether Leicester can stay where they are and if they do and Wolves go down and keep majority of there squad together. You can see them doing a Fulham of a few years ago and absolutely tearing up the Championship which will make next season even more difficult.

If we take 9 points from our next 4 I believe we will go onto win the league

6 points would be good.
IF
Beat the Baggies and prevent the other 3 from beating us.
BUT
not good if 2 wins and the defeats are by Mackems & Clarets.

7 points is not much better if the defeat is by Mackems or Clarets.

8 is fantastic

Burnley also have a tough run of fixtures coming up they play us and Boro away then in January they've got Blackburn away and Sunderland and Leeds at home so every one will drop points let's see where we are once January is over

We will be top
