Who's been the most important signing out of these four so far, who's been the most influential to the team, had the biggest impact etc

You could make a case for each one of them, you really could. But for me personally, it’s got to be Henderson. He’s won us several points this season already and he’s already bought into what it is to be a Blade. What a man.

Norwood for me, although they're all worthy
But with Norwood I just think if we'd had him from the start we might have started better

Hendo has probably got us 6-9 points so far this season. The kid is class and contibuted to 3 points, if not for him it could have been all so different.

Last man off the pitch today a good minute after the others had gone down the tunnel!

It is hard to choose between the four but personally I think it's mcgoldrick and Hendo joint top they've won us so many points this season between them both but Norwood has improved the technical ability of our team by heaps

I went for Norwood, but that’s 4 cracking signings.
Yeah only listed those four since the others Johnson Washington etc haven't really had the chance to make a proper impact yet

Why is it down to just one of those four? In fact what about every member of our squad? What we achieve is down to the whole group from top to bottom, it is a cliche I know but it is the group that holds the magic, sure some catch the eye more than others but it really is a collective effort & I believe it is central to the way CW gets his teams to play.

I was wondering where he’d gone then I glanced over to the Family Stand and there he was! Cracking ‘keeper and a great bloke.

Voted Deano, but quite frankly all 4 four have been effin immense.

That's a tough one. In the end I went for Norwood, cos I never thought we'd get a Coutts replacement who is even better than the Rolls-Royce. Special mention for McGoldrick, who has to be up there as one of the best "freebies" we've ever signed.

Norwood is class, we haven’t had a midfield player that covers as much ground since Monty but this one can pass.

McGoldrick is smooth and reminds me of A Warnock style striker that will give his all.

Since the glorious Bassett days we’ve struggled to ever have 2 keepers that are good now we have 2, love how he can do short and long ball if required.

Egan - solid as a rock money well spent

I've said Egan but you could easily say all four.

As well as Wright and Stearman did last season, the centre back position was one where we often conceded soft goals from set plays/were susceptible to opposition with strength/pace at times.

Egan, after taking a game or two to settle in, has shown exactly why he was our record signing with some towering performances and how he leads that back 3. Far more confident with him in there.

I can easily make a case for all 4 though.

Norwood might be the best signing we actually paid good money for since....... Hulse? I'm genuinely struggling to think of one

I’ll go with Norwood because he got us playing again.

But... a good keeper makes such a difference to a season. If we’d had a keeper like Hendo in 2011 we wouldn’t have been relegated. In 2012, we’d have been promoted.

All of them. Wilder gets players that make a team. No one is better than anyone else. The whole truly is greater than the sum of the parts.

Top of the league with a team that cost relative buttons. Once more Wilder knocks it out tue ball park. In Tufty we trust.

I thought about this one for a good while and I have to go for John Egan.

The others all represent upgrades on last season and compliment what we’re about, but John Egan is the one we needed most. He’s getting better with every game and is leading that back line. Basham looks twice the player alongside him and is far more confident in his role. We’re just not as much of a light touch with him in the side, I’m confident we’ll deal with the simple stuff.

Last year I felt we threw so many points away needlessly. Our biggest challenge is coming up after this international break, we have the tougher teams to play in the run up to Christmas. Will be interesting to see how the back line copes with some of the division’s trickier front lines
