Yeah that’s it pretty much, lazy opinions. Everyone when watching a game of football involving their team focuses on what their team is doing right/wrong rather than how good or bad the opposition are.Spoke to a Luton fan who was saying how in spite of them being up and around the play-offs for two seasons people still say they won't last and that it's a poor division if Luton are up there. Basically, people just don't think a team like Luton could be any good and won't put bias aside. Same way it doesn't matter how much good football we play, everyone still calls us a bunch of cloggers.
Vincent Kompany wins 28 games and they're one of the best of all time. Heckingbottom wins 27 and it must be a shit division.
That’s why we end up with so many ungracious comments in ‘the view from’……”we had an off day”, “Blades didn’t need to do much to beat us”
etc. In their minds Warnock is still our manager and we are playing hoofball which should be easily dealt with.
The irony is if the top 5/6 were miles ahead of the rest points wise people would be saying how strong the division is rather than it being uncompetitive.
