I'm quite sure they got a sub-7000 crowd v Colchester in the old 3rd division

Yeh 6,900 and odd is Wednesday's lowest post war crowd when they played Colchester in 1976.

Interesting point, did you know, that after Arsenal, Coventry hold the record for the longest term in the top division without relegation, 33 years (I think) amazing really to witness their tragic demise.

Fake news.
As BushBlade says Everton (58) and Liverpool (50) are two.

Man U did spend a season in div 2 - former idol Denis Law, then playing for Citeh, put the final nail in the coffin with a cheeky back heel in 1974. Before that Man U spent and unbroken 37 seasons there.

If you're talking unbroken spells in top flight then Tottenham had 34 years before their fall and rise.

Have you got a Cov supporting mate that is feeding you bullshit?

Before Jimmy Hill they were shite.
Now........

I always enjoy an away day at Fleetwood and have a liking for fishermen's friends so I hope they go up! The club bar where they allow away fans is great, though I fear for them if Leeds come to town!
