In light of Stinky's thread - Jw everyone elses opinions ... For me it would be;

RM - Shelton
CM - Hendrie
CM - Squinny
LM - Carney

did you actually go to the last two games?

Squinny was dire...has been for a while..
Hendrie has got the touch of a rapist and runs like he's been rogered (sp) by jonny's horses.

I would play Shelton upfront on the last man and put Stead at RM.

Carney should play.

A.Quinn looked OK against Cardiff and kept going throughout so he should definately get a start. It's just who to pick alongside him that's difficult.

I would still say his bro ... And yes I have been there for both those games - 1 of which Squinny didn't play in

i know he didn't but the game before he didn't do anything. He started well in the premiership but hasn't played well enough for a place in the first 11.

RM Stead
CM A.Quinn
CM Hendrie
LM Shelton

Lets ave em

Everyone is putting Shelton in the "Best midfield" but how many times have you seen him play there properly??

I understand the reasoning that you MAY like to see him play there though.....

hes got pace and can beat a man, cant do any worse than keef

his crosses arnt that bad and his passing is no worse than montys or tonges.

Id try him out see how he goes. people want us to have a winger who can beat a man, why not try him out?

i agree, anything is worth trying the way we are playing at the moment, it can't get any worse can it?

This is what I'm saying, how can you class him in the best midfield when he has not been tried there?

I agree we should give him a try, BUT until that point you can't class him in our "best midfield"

he was playing right wing Vs Cardiff when he came on didnt he?

think ive seen him out there before on the wing.

and at the moment, with keef out and lack of midfield, i would class him in the best midfield we have avalible at the moment.

If by saying right wing you mean left you might be right. But I'd personally saying he came on as a striker.

yeah, i meant left ;) i thought he played on the wing and BT and sharp up front.

Neither can Keef, at least shelton shows a bit of hunger and willingness to go past his man

We are not disputing this.

Are all you lot really that thick as to you can't see what I am saying....

You're putting him in the "best midfield" for United when, quite clearly we don't know if he will ever make it as a midfielder.

I saw my mate
The other day
He said he saw
The white Pele
I asked my mate
"What was his name?"
He said his name was..
Dave Carney

You guys are live here on the tele tomorrow night. After we've stuffed Melbourne we'll all be off to the boozer to watch Dave make his full debut. Hope he stuffs them.

I love it :D

Let's hope he starts for you tomorrow. He has looked lively each time I've seen him play.

I definitley hope he starts looked good when he has been on! COnfident with the ball at his feet yet to really see his end product but that comes with games i suppose

Our midfield is shit, we've never actually replaced Browny in my opinion. There is no creativity and they don't help defensively.

I would have:
Gillespie A.Quinn Law (if he wasn't loaned out) Squinny

McCall was a class act not fit or agile could pick a pass though which we desire

Oh baby baby, how was I supposed to know?

Reports saying here that Carney is impressing, but that's not saying a lot in your current midfield?

i thought carney has out shone the rest of the midfield in the games he's played. Looks confident on the ball and doesn't rush things.
