Eddie Colquhoun scored 6 in both 1969/70 and 1970/71 seasons so Murphy isnt the GOAT of corner headers!

Remember this game, was standing on John st terrace at eye level to the pitch when Gary Pendray smashed the ball into the railings, always thought it would have killed us if they hadn't been there

Was gonna say that, what a game, i was stood on the kop in the middle behind the goal and it went off when we scored. Others for me was Brian Deane's diving header away at stoke 1990 and simon webster in front of the kop, header from edge of the penalty area which looped over the keeper.

Yeah we used to stand just above the halfway trench in the Kop to the right hand side but we had moved to the rear of the Kop for the last few minutes to make a quick get away at full time when Francis scored the winner, absolute pandemonium and limbs everywhere.. something similar happened later in the season when Deane scored a last minute winner vs Port Vale.

I'm still thinking about Bindon's TOWERING header from the weekend - bloody love a headed goal me.

Now I'm not saying its the best header we've ever scored, but bloody hell he got up high, and the flight path into the net was bloomin' satisfying too!

I have no doubt there are loads better, but what is your favourite header we've scored?

Was talking about that game just yesterday! Amazing!

Best header, Deane v Ipswich I think it was in 1992/3 season. Think it was a hattrick he scored that day too.
