I’ve got alerts set up for BBC Andre Forza Football and I swear by The latter.

On FF I can follow multiple teams personalise the level of notifications per team and there is also now video highlights of goals within a few minutes of it going in.

Is there any others that are better? if not I’d really recommend Forza Football

It's great because it is always about 10 minutes behind what is really happening, so when your mates (with a Sky Sports app, or something like that), suddenly look at their phones and say "oooo that will do us a favour" or "crap, didn't want that to happen", you can play a little game with yourself, trying to work out what possibly could have happened.

Flash Scores is great - but it’s the only one I use so can’t compare.,

Used to do them straight away at the game... Turns out now we are in the championship, the EFLs legal team don't like us doing that

Fotmob for me but I haven't tried anything else for the last couple of years.
Alerts for when the lineups are announced is great but I haven't noticed any video highlights.
The best thing would be a customisable vidiprinter where I can add us and our rivals but exclude Bolton vs Reading for example.

The disallowed goal update can be a breaker/saviour depending on your lay! They suspended markets when there’s a chance and seems more up to date than the real thing. I’m sure I got my first alert yesterday before freeman’s shot actually crossed the line!

Flash Scores is great - but it’s the only one I use so can’t compare.,

I also use Flash Scores for my football bets,its a lot quicker than sky unless one of the studio presenters is covering the game. The one downside is they do sometimes say there has been a goal then it comes up score correction when its been disallowed.

One Football is pretty good, lots of stuff on there.

Sky Sports Score Centre app is a bit slow but has the video stuff.

Fotmob is another one that's alright because it has android wear/apple watch support so you don't have to keep getting your phone out at the match.

I use All Goals - it's lightning fast in terms of notifications. Its even beaten Foxy on twitter a couple of times...

Sofascore is a decent app, particularly if you're in to betting. I usually disable the notifications for our games though and instead rely on updates/notifications from Foxy and Blades_Mad on twitter

How do all these young fans on vlogs manage to get away with it? Apart from possibly most people have been bored to death / turned off watching after the 10 minute pre-amble of them buying a Ginsters Pasty at the services with their old man.

FlashScores is excellent, when I’m at the games, quite literally as soon as we score my phone goes off
