Agreed, because before that game Pressman had pulled off numerous great saves and had some poxy luck to deny us in other games. That was the night when the floodgates opened and that goal rammed it down his throat. Akinbiyi's and Tonge's were both good at Hillsborough as was Beatties free kick to level at the lane. Lots of scrappy goals in these games so rare to get so many quality goals in a relatively short time frame.

Even though I was p***ed off we'd yet again sold another piece of the family silver (think we were top when we sold him and finished outside the play-offs by the seasons end ... when will the board at our marvellous club ever learn) I was smiling inwardly as I knew most punters in the pubs would be f***ing pigs and have to keep watching Brownys goal on repeat all night

People always underestimate Steve Kabba's equalizer in the same match as Browns wonder goal.

Agree with Tyler about Kabba though. Huge relief all around BDTBL when that went in and it set the scene for Brown to step up moments later.

Brown wanted away. Doesn't make a jot of difference to him being a legend though.
