Best Blades Debuts?

Sun Jihai was a class above, albeit in defeat against Birmingham. All over for him after his toddler tantrum against Coventry a few months later but he was good while it lasted.

But we were chanting England’s number one that day because he’d been bought the day before, we knew nothing about him, and didn’t even know he was Welsh!
We were chanting "England's number 2" (behind Tracey). By the time we played at Goodison on Sat 11 April, we realised he was Welsh so amended the chant to "Wales' Number 1". At the start of the second half, Neville Southall ran towards the goal in front of the Blades fans to be greeted by chants of "Wales, Wales' Number 2". 😂

Chris Wilder made an impressive start (as a player) on a frozen pitch in a cup tie (I can't remember when, or who we were playing, but no doubt someone will remind me).

The irony of a poster called Lee Baxter liking a post about great Blades debuts...

The YouTube video of that game has my hairs standing on end
It was my first United match without a grown-up - aged about 14 me and my mate (Sunderland fan) caught the train from Kent where we both lived. That day I finally understood why we sit through all the dreary 0-0s, the defeats at Swindon, etc etc - all worth it to see Deano et al on fire that day.

Vas Borbokis against Sunderland [I think]. Not looking so good these days!

Bit more context -
Wendy were towards the top of Division 1 at the time, we were struggling. But we'd beaten them at the Lane earlier in the season, so this was for the double. We got Davidson in on a loan from Leeds. Think I'm right in saying not many people knew much about him. He had a great game and of course scored two goals.

The days before transfer windows where you could at least loan players throughout the season

Was Jonas Wirmola's debut the game against Wimbledon? I remember wondering who on Earth he was, and then watched amazed as he bullied John Fashanu for 90 minutes - had him in his pocket. He was excellent that night, but never quite matched it in his next few games and then faded into obscurity.
