Did we have thicker stripes for the second half of the 1972-73 season? If so, then I hadnt noticed it!

Will look at the 1972-73 programmes. We wore white shorts for home games between Sept 1966 and December 1966I certainly remember the middle stripe changing from red to white, Silent. I was collecting stickers for my album at the time and the pictures had players wearing both varieties.
v West Ham in March 1973? 0-0 draw
Old days? Pre 1914?Live and let live Blades. Kit fetishes great if that's your thing
Should it be on General Blades Chat though? Maybe 'Comments, Suggestions or Problems' I'd say. Not really 'General Chat'.
Talk 'kit' in the old days, you might have been surprised. We rarely had matching shorts, we didn't clean our boots and we didn't carefully arrange anything inside or out, black boots followed brown ones, no multi-colours, all long sleeved, all long shorts, club emblem like a coat of arms, no animal team names. Those were the days!!

Forest Green's new kits are below.
How about us having a beer-coloured strip for next season as a tribute to most Blades fans' pre-match meal?
